The Gallowgate shots one after the weekend was a bit hysterical, like. There was a claim we shut up shop and went for a point, that was simply inaccurate and then there was only Osula and Tonali singled out for effort which is just fucking stupidity, Trippier couldn't be faulted and Thaw looked to be close to tears of frustration. But these lads are up there, and know the crack ye knaa

They wouldn't have been impressed with him saturday,he was honking and hooked at ht

He has the same gait as Anita,a taller version I can see the comparison in style. He'll be fucking gutted if that's his legacy, you'd imagine

Has gobshite Shearer put forward a name yet ?
-
indicative of our malaise that he's still involved really, squad is full of cobwebs
-
I had heard Scott should be on the WC plane before the match saturday, haven't seen that much of him previous but he was way better than any of our midfield lot

given our relatively new CEO and DOF and the absent nature of our ownership, what is the selection process of a new manager going to look like beyond 'get Emery'
-
lack of stature for a keeper, pigeon build, little round shoulders. Scampers around the 6 yard area flailing at things. Canny shot stopper

But what about Ebony and Ivory and Someone's knocking at the door, I don't think anyone can deny they're classics
-
I mean, where's his self awareness putting this mug shot up. The bairns are clinging to their ma's leg
-
couldn't give a shite what he does from now on but it is amusing seeing posters 'letting things slip'

yeah I agree, the Wissa injury was a horrific stroke of luck for us given the general situation. But I can't help wondering where Eddie was planning on playing Nick given his strengths and weaknesses as a striker. I don't think a lot of homework was done, I think we just plunged in. And we're un fortunately seeing the result (so far)

no humping, late winner for Arsenal
-
with the talent that Nick has showcased so far and it's a fairly divisive subject on here, what is abundantly clear is that Eddie is struggling to know what to do with him, and that makes him a poor signing at around the reported 70 mill

I'll bear it in mind for next season 👍

Aye I've been in there, great buzz like. Sometimes I just want to find a quiet spot after the match to have a sit down and digest it etc, it's really difficult
-
Aye I normally pop in the Bacchus/ Percy /Hotspur and might take in an Irish haunt to see if there's a bit of live music on ( The Union rooms being the latest I've heard). I'm massively resistant to change at this point (I'm 64) but I still only need 2 pisses at the ground and I'm fucked without my geps

Berbatov was world class though, and a little more mobile from what I remember. If Nick's natural game is to drift into pockets to collect then create from there can we not fucking work with that? Maybe work on him arriving late in the box type if thing. Frustrating as hell seeing the lack of creativity from the coaching set up
