  1. That move's worked out well. Suppose he can deputise for Darlow for a while, seeing as Sels just doesn't look capable.

I don't hate anyone because of who they support. It's football for God's sake let's keep it in context man. Reserve your hate for people who truly deserve it. I also don't have to imagine being a Mackem, I am one. It's pretty much the same as being a Scouser, a Geordie, a Smoggie etc. We are only what we are by an accident of birth. If you were born in Sunderland you'd be a Mackem. If I were born in Newcastle I'd be a Geordie. Anyway...we were terrible on Saturday. We surely have to flush this year We're led to believe you're a very frequent poster on RTG, so although I agree in principle with your views, your time preaching the anti-hatred message would be much better spent on your own forum where it is much more prevalent than it is on here. He'd be called a Mag Kernt for sure.
  3. I mean, it's a shame, But i'd pick Yedlin every time.
  4. Waugh reckons Haidara got injured in the first game and is out. Not seen anyone else mention it though.
  5. Why would he not put kids on the bench if worst came to it? I have no idea. Some managers do it in transfer windows to emphasise the need for more players
  6. Will only have 5 or 6 on the bench I feel. Unless He lets one of the kids sit on it.
  7. Also, it was reported as "being made available to". Not that we actually took out all or any of it.

Wouldn't be so sure about Hull. With Hernandez back they may have a chance.
  9. I'd take Danny Guthrie back over Jack Colback.
  10. Ain't nobody like Jonjo Shelvey that makes us happy, after all.
  11. It's the 13th, not the 31st. Put that Knee back in place. I'll put my foot up your arse if you like? Problem is you'd probably climax. Are you seriously going for the "Violent threats and call them gay" approach?
  12. It's the 13th, not the 31st. Put that Knee back in place.
  13. Can we not just go back to looking abroad again?
  14. Kind of wonder why these clubs bother wasting their time. As if Sunderland are going to sell anyone when they're fighting a relegation worth hundreds of millions. They know players might be sick of it there and might kick up a fuss if bids come in. If it distracts and unsettles Sunderland, its good for Palace, even if they don't get the player.
  15. Not sure what this is based on. Aarons might be Mr Glass but he's always looked at the very least a talent for us, against PL teams too. I quite like Atsu. He's got some good raw materials and is one of those wingers where everything might just click one day. That would be my one reason for signing him. As things stand he's quite a way short of PL standard, though. Mostly from the two times i saw him this season, as there's very little to go on. Of course, when he first came through, I thought we was great, its just there's already been a lot of injuries that make me doubt he'll ever be able to show it even when he is fit, due the effect its had. Of course, I hope these doubts are completely wrong.
  16. We seem to have gone for "They must play in england and be British" approach going by the rumours this window. Not one I like, but we'll see.
  17. Unless you meant Brighton of course, but then, they alone can't stop us going up.
  18. They have a game in hand mind, so we need to make sure we win this weekend. Didn't they just play and lose it?
  19. Even if Aarons wasn't injured, he's not better.
  20. If the criteria was simply "be a better player than Colback or Gouffran" Thauvin and Saivet would still be here.
  21. Be better for him long run. He's had it too easy to just walk into teams in the past. Needs to know he's under pressure, might cut some of the stupid errors he's too prone to making out of his game.
