Wilson doesn't look at it tonight at all. I'd look to get him off and use Gordon or Maxi -

Loved the moment Trippier takes it back into his own half, calms play, then pings Joelinton clean through -

Served Brighton right, they were obsessed with causing drama and it's cost them. Their playing out from the back looks terrible against our press. -
The Europeometerâ„¢ (2024/25) - NUFC Qualify for Champions League
mighty__mag replied to Rich's topic in Football
Just found this, I didn't actually know winning the Europa League gets you in the CL the following season. How 5 English teams can make Champions League Although it is unlikely, there are two ways that a maximum five English teams can qualify for the Champions League. The first instance is when a team that finishes outside the top four in the league wins the Champions League. For example, if Chelsea had won Europe's elite trophy in 2022/23 while finishing in their current league position, they would be the fifth team in the Champions League alongside the clubs which finish in the top four. The other possible way for five English teams to make the Champions League is for a club outside the top four wins the Europa League. Winning the Europa League grants automatic qualification for the Champions League group stage in the following season. -
Is Mike Ashley connected with Coventry in any way?

Amazing how quick Vardy still is

C'mon Leicester

This is one game that's got me shitting myself, they're fearless, Enciso is some player. I think to give them something to think about, you'd need to start Saint-Maximin, we need them under enough pressure to take some of the pressure of ourselves, not sure what Eddie will do though, he now has created the new dilemma of trying to please Wilson by playing Isak on the left, unless ASM went on the right? I mean Miggy has hardly come back and hit his old form.
-
Couldn't agree more. Some right entiled heads starting to grow, What happened to , "we just want a team that tries."
-
Would like to see Targett and Saint-Max
-
Pretty Awfully start. Thankfully Pope dug us right out of the shit, and it has literally saved us. I think we need a different approach or a switch, Joe Willock is getting battered out there, and not a great deal of support for him anywhere other than Isak helping him out here and there, Burn offers absolutely nothing to support players ahead of him.

Exactly the same, don't get it, other than Alex Hurst etc trying desperately to get their Mad Dog nickname to stick. -

James Maddison (now playing for Tottenham Hotspur)
mighty__mag replied to The Prophet's topic in Football
There are definitely 'good' players, but we have been hearing the word 'elite' more recently, where we were, and where we want to go for me, this now means those sounding out the likes of James Ward Prowse as a signing, I'd personally argue against, I get the Lavia arguments with age on the players side, and Eddie will develop a player with Lavia's potential. You'd struggle past Maddison for elite players out of the possible sides likely to get relegated. Probably add Tielemans to that. That's your gourmet basement signings. -
ASM is still a massive player for us, Eddie's not daft he wouldn't sell, he's just been unfortunate this season with injuries, Wilson is the same, but still managed his best goal return in a season and on course to increase it.
-
We'll do all this, and it'll be neither of them. I feel it would be nicer for Luton retrospectively, them being the one side out of the four never to have played in the prem.
-
I was meaning why am I out of my mind, then following with you don't want them promoted, as the question. tbf, I understand why people detest them, but derby games would be fun.
-
Supposed to mean them or Middlesbrough. Why though..... You don't want them promoted?
