Joe Willock doesn't appear to he taking up any kind of effective position? He'll score now I've said this.

Gone a bit sloppy here.

Jesus Botmans fitness came under question there

Missed a stone wall foul by Martinelli. Missed a stonewall free kick. Top class reffing

That's dirty, left a late knee on Livramento. Dirty Arsenal, but we're the thugs
-
Livramento drives me mad, he literally refuses to cross when he has ample time on his side, resulting in breakdown of attacks. Other side Hall, will take on anything.

The choice of Hinchliffe pain on Sky. Or negatives of Dixon on itv

Btw, that wasn't any historic reference, Purley they'd go wild for any Japanese hero playing in the Premier League.

Let's do it, we'd claw loads back in Japanese hysteria

Going to look like massive hypocrites if that actually happened.

My assumption would be contracts, and lining up new deals for players, Isak will be wanting more cash soon enough. We have a good number of players close to the 100-150k a week mark. We can get a good number of players off the books by the end of this season, but two possibly three of those will get extended deals, then there's the big players needing to be secured to fend off interest.

This thread is redundant if we don't sell anyone this window. 25 more days of names.

Yeah, we had a few tough lads. I feel like the Premier League put an end to it all, Batty was the last of that era of tough midfield players, as the rules got more strict, and more and more premadonna's arrived in the league, the tough man midfield player phased out. Les Ferdinand can still remember the incident clearly - Batty had his hand around Butt's neck at one point - and the former No 9 admits the Yorkshireman would 'tackle a brick wall for you'. "You always knew at some stage of a game he was going to get himself into a little bit of a tear up," Ferdinand told ChronicleLive. "If there was a little tear up when I was on the pitch and he was inevitably involved, I would say something to him and he would just have a wry little grin on his face as if to say, 'Well, you know what I do and how I do it'. And that was it." Watch Batty punch Isias first but somehow come off worse. Batty gets up and laughs about it. Best thing of all was, Isias shite himself at the end of the game doing a houdini, knowing Batty was going to murder him. Away vs Metz was a night where the iconic 95 shirt was forced to be played without the Newcastle Brown Ale sponsor on the shirt, forcing our fans to turn up with a gigantic inflatable Newcastle Brown Ale bottle in response.
