Not even upset, we had 4 or 5 players surrounding the striker, nobody dealt with it.

It was mentioned yesterday Harvey Elliott (21) was looking to move on from Liverpool, I could honestly see Eddie shaping him to be quality, he could be the answer to the right midfield. I'd also throw in Kubo, and Edon Zhegrova of Lille.
-
Considering O'Reilly has played Attacking Midfield nearly all his career, he looks solid at the back out of position. Looks like Pep could have stumbled upon his left back issues.
-
Although he was technically outstanding, like ASM, I feel those that love him and still talk about him today, perhaps it comes from their main time as a Nufc fan age wise (might be wrong). Most of my heroes were from the 90's, perhaps why I preferred Ginola over HBA. However, contrary to what I'm saying here, I also preferred ASM to HBA, but that would be out wide on the left, I always felt HBA would have been an attacking mid or pushed right up behind the striker, don't think Pardew that had the luxury of having him, ever used him correctly.

Is this going to happen, scaremongers trying to claim it may not go ahead? -
Genuinely think one club could pay 150/180m and that's Madrid, and they're the only club not really mentioned.

José would add the final layers to his decline if he was daft enough to consider such a shite team.

The Europeometer™ (2024/25) - NUFC Qualify for Conference League (at least)
mighty__mag replied to Rich's topic in Football
I'm not sure, from what you mention about June, you'd think possibly Wilson,Lascelles,J.Lewis, none will be renewed there, saving on wages. Longstaff has renewed, I'd expect Schar to get a year, also Krafth. The others, I'd think Dubravka goes this month, then there's only Miggy and Trippier. Hypothetically, if Miggy was for 10m to MLS, and we dared to risk losing Trippier saving a year's wages estimated 6m. But as you're alluding to, selling a higher profile player this month, I could only think losing Longstaff is an option, maybe Matt Targett? Unlikely, could Barnes move, if he's just getting sub appearances. -

I think we need to go for it, was convinced we'd do nothing in January, but I think just one solid signing would be enough, because our next month of fixtures look very good. -

He's gotta be picking up PFA young player of the season. He's easily ours, with Isak likely player of the season. -
That's gotta be unique
