  1. Kill me, the Ronaldo hero bumming is too much.
  2. Ronaldo, Would love someone to lob a mic at him now.
  3. No way we get Wimmer. He'll probably be starting the season for them. Can't see any chance of them including Trippier either. As good as that would be. Spurs fans I know don't rate Ryan Mason at all but, in fairness, they all thought Andros was gash so f*** knows. Vertonghen & Alderweireld will be starting, likewise Rose & Walker. Your right we probably wouldn't get them, but I hope they Rafa/Carr/Charnley ask at least. Have they arranged a miracle cure for Vertonghen? He was ruled out for 2 months minimum a fortnight ago. Oh sorry, didn't realise. But you know I mean I'd like to think any exchange we would be after players that could seriously offer something to us.Not just chasing their youths or reserves. Matt Ritchie & Gayle dropped down, I'd like to think others may too.

  5. Mason is dog. Ask for Wimmer or Trippier as part of any deal.
  6. Grant Hanley, we waited years and years to see the back of Steven Taylor, and now it seems we are considering a similar type? I take it Hanley will be miles less clumbsy, cringeworthy, and injury prone. But it's hardly a massive step up in defensive personnel. There must be better out there?
  7. “The manager told me I could play in either role as a striker or on the wing,” he told the Chronicle. Not sure he's a winger? Can the lad cross a ball.
  8. First to 10 gets it, would be tough on the ones who don't start as many games, but hit a hattrick early and your on your way...
  9. I think it will go to Mitrović, but I'm also thinking Rafa has a surprise up his sleeve with another Striker maybe?
  10. He was a total liability, defending was both arms behind his back, going forward the most predictable fullback in the league at the time, easy to play against if you watched one video, all he did was play leftback with a right foot, so every single attack would mean he'd have to check onto his right to provide a cross. The only one or two times he played in a natural position, that should have been on the right side, and possibly midfield not defence was vs Wigan and a game he actually did ok and scored one of his few goals. In all honesty was never a fan, but like so so many of our players he was not used correctly, that's my opinion.
  11. Same could be said for Siem De Jong. I think Haidara is a bit lightweight, not much of a defender. Just personal view.

Did it end up being 1 million?

    Jesús Gámez

1 million for any player is good these days. Superb if true.
  14. Lascelles. Because he gives a shit.
  15. Jesús Gámez Duarte Ameobi His wiki has him as an Ameobi.
  16. Lascelles makes Mitrovic look small.
  17. What the hell? Rafa has a whole underground basement dedicated to his encyclopaediac knowledge of all players. He knows about the packet of quavers that Mark Noble ate when he was 14. That's sealed it then. Still questions to be asked why Carr is still here though? If your in total control surley Carr would have been gone for all the poor recruitment. Something doesn't sit right about it all. But obviously I'm a troll etc now for having a glimmer of doubt.
  18. Omg, is that some kind of record at that age. Gonna be off again when Pardew ruins him.
  19. Pleased about this, finally the rot is being shifted. Taylor, now him, soon Sissoko hopefully.
  20. Comfortably the worst post I've seen on here recently and there's been some competition. You really think Rafa (one f, by the way), hasn't seen two premier league players and a keeper (who has a name *Sels*), play before? This bloke does his homework. He's not Pardew. Not what was said, I think Carr is behind them. Fine if Raffa rubber stamped it. But I still think more Carr than Raffa. So f***? The main issue we had with Carr's recent signings were physical unsuitability for the league. Neither of these players have that problem and both have decent (or better) records in the division we're playing in. You also discount the idea that Rafa has maintained a network of contacts over here who might well have advised him. And the "not 100% in control" statement is utter horseshit as well. Have a read back on the Rafa thread and see the posts from the Liverpool fans. They know the bloke better than us and it's clear that when they tell us about the man's character, he is a man of utmost integrity. Rafa would have been gone the minute we were relegated if he hadn't been assured he had cast iron control over every aspect of the club. Ok then. I'll sit on the fence a bit and see what happens. Shearer has said similar comments in the media, claiming "he hopes he has full control but only time will tell". Guess even the big man has doubts.
