  1. My new favourite player. It is already evident he gives more of a shit, and works hard over most that have been here picking up pay for average performance. The way he took the pen last night roared over and booted the flag. Total passion and wants to do well. A grafter and already a Geordie. Quality?
  2. https://www.google.co.uk/amp/www.sportskeeda.com/amp/football/scout-report-sebastien-haller-next-thierry-henry?client=ms-android-google Ignore the title comparison, scouting report. Not bad info on him, skeeda usually decent reviews.
  3. Radio said we may as well have been playing with 10 men. Gini away from home did more? Is that his last game for us...
  4. Love Ritchie. His celebration after the pen, quality way to react & has given his best in all the games, and his celebration makes me think he's already a Geordie ?
  5. Team is awful. Anita & Gouffran. Wow. Remember Rafa saying we would have everything done, and he'd know his best team etc by the Fulham game. Seems we haven't done everything and he doesn't know his best side. Nervous. We really aught to be getting points on the board tonight. At least someone is actually playing Gouffran where he used to play when he arrived here.
  6. Not confident about this. Not confident in the players, nobody is really applying themselves bar Ritchie.
  7. A few on here still believe Graham Carr isn't responsible for our current woes though.
  8. He might as well have said "I'm not in total control like like most believe" just waiting on Carr & Charnley to sort out Moussa, and the rest or the bellends" Then il inform them both where we need players, and as always they will choose who we get..... ?
  9. Think we need to force Brighton into selling us Knockaert, Brighton made a great start he's involved in everything, scored again tonight. Very tidy player.
  10. Brighton off to a flyer & Norwich. Huddersfield, still unbeaten. And didn't see Burton thrashing Sheffield Wednesday. Wow, this league man.
  11. Fuck me sideways, the sudden Riviere love on here....
  12. Not sure if anyone has come across this or ever heard of it. But I was basically looking at young talents in the UK and I heard a few noises last year about a 15yr old kid being called up to England u18s turns out he is in Cardiff City's youth academy, eligible at the moment to still possibly choose to play for England or Wales. Anyway had a look on their website to see how he is progressing, as Cardiff fans last year were talking about potential beyond the likes of Ramsey, possibly even Bale. Guess what, he's now with Man City, unreal. Apparently their persuit was relentless. A comment from the bluebird fans: "That's a disaster . What's the point in putting millions into an academy when the big clubs can just walk in and take their pick" "Some clubs aren't even bothering with academies any more because they know any decent talent will be stolen by the elite clubs" The link below explains the EPPP system. https://tomkinstimes.com/2014/07/strengthening-the-strong-weakening-the-weak/ Seems like a tragedy for clubs who can't stop the vultures. That link is a very in depth look at how it all works, hope any of you find it interesting especially if it is something you are unaware of. Pure elitist stuff. Political football, and potentially ruining small clubs.
  13. Really? Wish you could inform Rafa then, he's had Anita right mid past two fixtures. So surley there isn't better options. At least we have evidence, he's(Anita) been ok there back end of last season at RB. Janmaat loves getting forward, absolutely no reason why he couldn't manage it, he can also provide, something we never seem to do? What difference it actually makes! We have played that many in stupid positions now, why not? Janmaat's final ball is awful. He's had more assist than quite a few? Not many, but anyway he's practically playing right mid all the time, the guy gives fuck all going back. I'm sure he'd love it, and just support Anita a bit?

  15. http://www.footballuser.com/formations/2016/08/1493408_Newcastle_United.jpg This with either Perez or Gayle. Reason Janmaat is wide is because he seems more natural there, never seems to want to defend so let him play wide and get service to striker, plus Anita would actually fit into a team better this way, as Rafa uncovered his only suitable position last season, where to be fair to Anita he looked safe.
  16. He was never actually 100% fit for us and still finished something like 3rd highest scorer or thereabouts. I agree, and if he can get to full fitness and a tad leaner would be better than Bolasie. Bolasie is a bit like a Sissoko type winger, big power, fast but rarely scores. Me personally would take a fully fit Townsend over Bolasie. Each to their own though.
  17. Sissoko surley sees himself better than palace. I think the deal for Lukaku returning to Chelsea is already agreed and although not complete Everton will start spending, 50+m for stones 70m for Lukaku, they do very well in transfers. Best thing is they are clever with it, already have Holgate starting to gain experience as they flog Stones, nurturing players, not afraid to test them and sell them on big. I think Sissoko back on the subject, could end up here, once they receive extra funds. I'd like us to negotiate Galloway into the deal, let's say even if it ends up 20m & the player. Garbutt looks very tidy when I've seen him, could be another fullback option, as does the young lads Pennington & Browning. Always had a superb academy the toffee's as do Hammers, and Saints. Think we should be calling some of them up and asking who can be available on loans
  18. Surprised we have not looked at players struggling to get in their Prem sides that could improve us.(buy or loan) Nathan Dyer of Swansea would be ideal as a wide player in the championship. Couldn't get a game for swans so sent to Leicester, low and behold wins a title medal. Not saying he will be coming here as he's just signed a new contract until 2020. But it proved sometimes some managers don't fancy some players and instantly outcast them. Danny Ings will he get games under Klopp? Will he behind Origi? Either one would be a good shout. Joel Campbell Arsenal, hardly plays enough games, Serge Gnabry on fire at the Olympics, WBA gave him one game last season? Could surley give us another option wide? Ulloa Brothwick-Jackson Galloway Oxford Will be loads more, all I can think of of top of my head without looking.
  19. Agree on this team, not the score. Will be toughest test of the three teams. Nervy 1-0
  20. Jimmy Floyd making management look easy.
  21. Good idea, I'm sure Rolando can handle the full workload on Championship and even if he gets injured we can start Anita or Colback on the wing. Yes there is that problem.maybe someone he can complete with other than push him further behind.
  22. Riviere 6m I don't wanna go on. Cabella,Thauvin,Saivet Shelvey, Gouffran. Then there is the help the agent deals, like Ferrayra, Doumbia? There's miles more examples. Nobody was even that fust with Gini. Our third most expensive signing since Owen and biggest under Ashley.
