  1. The news just keeps getting better, first Taylor gone, now this utter waster wants out. Genuinely pleased.
  2. All these names being dropped, no one giving Adam Armstrong a shout. I would like to see him breakthrough properly like Andy Carroll did down there.
  3. There are minimum fee release clauses, probably written in by the club and usually higher, then relegation release clauses probably instructed by the agent & player,so they get out. It will be slightly less or close to the price signed at. It's a guess because nobody actually knows, but I'd assume it's kinda like this
  4. Not sure if this has already been posted, but the mag claimed the following below from Colo. Sounds like a new era under Rafa Fabricio Coloccini stated in an interview yesterday that Rafa Benitez intends to build his defence around players under the age of 25, suggesting that the likes of Taylor, Coloccini and almost certainly Daryl Janmaat, were all set to leave the club. - See more at: http://www.themag.co.uk/2016/06/newcastle-united-release-official-statement-future-steven-taylor/#sthash.CyWkHbsl.dpuf
  5. You could use the same argument for Wijnaldum, he scored more and was second highest assists, first season. But gets nailed for poor away form etc. There's no argument for him lacking in matches but so have so many others, Sissoko plays half a season if that, Shelvey couldn't be arsed, Colback gets commended for just running around acting busy? I'd say Wijnaldum is probably one of the better players this season along with Mitrovic, Mbemba, Lascelles, So many others were bang average or not arsed. Ayoze love the guy but he was a shadow of his first season, looked slow lazy and off sorts, ones who need to f*ck.off are Colo,Cisse,Colback,Janmaat,Sissoko, etc. Gini will 90% leave but I'd keep him over all the other bums.
  6. 40m? Never heard that anywhere. Realistically I'd imagine something like this, any player sales above, the same, and below, repay Ashley the difference, so Townsend for example could have a release clause of 8m already a 4m loss, but we sell Sissoko at 10m who cost 1.5m and gain a little back after refunding Ashley. Bit by bit Rafa will accumulate a kitty of cash, then reinvest through player sales, or keep the players who he allegedly was told and quoted to the press has no pressure to sell players. Anyone leaving this club therefore is because Rafa doesn't need them, they want out,or it makes sense with good offers and short contacts etc, high earners. I would doubt he has 40m when Ashley claimed all the money was gone.
  7. Can he be any worse than when we had,Shola Hardwood Best and Lovern? As last choice he'd be ok surley?
  8. They never use the guy though. He's not coming here, and definitely not for a minus offer Probably true, I'm going into a mental breakdown with the McCormack rumours, in the hope we get another target. I actually think we could go with most we have, Rivierre, Armstrong, Mitrovic, Cisse probably Ayoze still here. Not really a panic to sign a striker if they all stay on.
  9. They never use the guy though. If it's West Ham though, why not cash plus player, we get Diafra Sakho & cash for Ayoze? Or I would seriously straight swap back for Carroll, would never happen like, but I would like to see it thrown at them. Straight swap Carroll for Perez? I was meaning id like that, not that I believe it.

  11. Not really,no evidence of that. All this prolific crap in the championship means nothing. You could argue Shola was prolific in the championship, when we were down there wasn't it a three horse race who would finish top scorer for us? Between Carroll Nolan and Shola, Shola played the least games through injury so who knows if he would have out scored the other two. It was Nolan in the end who scored the most. We will walk the division if we keep 60% of the team we have now. I would love McCormack to sign if it was 3-4m but the reports of a 30yr old at 10-12 are stupid. Not if his goals take us back up straight away, which they probably would Did his goals take Fulham up then?

  13. Proven goalscorer with a strong assist record in his best age. Why not? He wasn't great with Leeds, and I just wouldn't really want him at his age.Yeah great as a back up for a few million but reports of 10-12. Naa. We should look to offer Liverpool a part ex for Gini on Ings if there is any truth in the rumours Liverpool & Chelsea or Roma are looking....
  14. Not really impressed with the constant McCormack rumours. At 29 not really someone I'd hope we considered.
  15. I'm with this slightly, based on his run around and none direct replies to straightforward questions regarding the control he actually has. Oh and Carr is still here, why?
  16. He have always been like that I think.. Evasive I mean https://twitter.com/CaulkinTheTimes/status/735559398622384128 Bit strange how Graham Carr is staying on now? If it was as straightforward as having full say on everything you would just answer yes to the questions, in a roundabout way he avoided saying yes I have total control over player recruitment and I'll be choosing the players etc. All the press have done is lead everyone into thinking this is the case, and it's the main reason behind him staying. I'm taking a guess but I think he's gonna be presented with targets by Graham Carr, but he will overrule anyone coming in that he will not use, unlike others Pardew,McClaren, just having players bought and not wanting or finding a role for them to fit in or play. I'm not convinced he's in total control until he actually just says it, up to now he hasn't.
  17. Blackpool/Fleetwood area I think. Went to school in Poulton le Fylde. Where did you find that info?
  18. I have watched the video of the press conference multiple times now, and when asked about will he be in charge of transfers he doesn't give a straight answer. Instead kind of goes around the questions a bit like my manager does at work?
  19. The smile is so sincere. http://i.imgur.com/eTdMaYf.jpg Looks like David Silva's dad in that image (almost squirrel like)
  20. Guess we will find out soon enough who gives a sh*t. Because he said to a reporter I don't have to sell any players. So if any leave it will be because they force moves or he doesn't want them here. Not being arrogant, but I can see him p*ssing the league.
  21. Where do they get this sh*t, McCormack? no way would Benitez consider, If true Carr is staying & Benitez is off
  22. http://i.imgur.com/yqhr6mg.jpg The thumb with his thumb Mike Ashley's eyes look like two little Vaginas on their sides?
  23. Pleased with the look of that, Will be the best in the Championship! Will probably buy it.
  24. Me too, him & Lascelles could be the partnership we have craved for decades, not had a pair of central defenders that young and promising for as long as I can remember, always been an issue at our club defending. These pair now have a chance to build something amazing in the championship.
