Come on Coventry
-
Yeah no tinfoil hat, it's blatant now.
-
Please have karma ?
-
No lines, no proper angle, and checked in super fast timing, the other way around we'd have had lines, angles, and hours to make sure. Var is a corrupt pile of bullshit, it's rigged shite. Fuming! I screamed the fucking house down when that went in.
-
At what angle do they decide this utter shit, Var was solely brought in to cheat, I'm certain.
-
O'Hare is a tidy player.
-
Christ, so unlucky
-
Feel Coventry are just overdoing things, just a bit more composed, and they could kill these.
-
Fernandes is an absolute tosser
-
Var trying to help out as usual
-
Would be a superb back up if we sold Wilson.
-
Have to say I think Sims is class

Crystal Palace vs. Newcastle United: 24/4/24 @ 20:00 (No UK TV)

I'm not sure they are? I genuinely feel its mostly all been done on reputation, probable potential etc. Take Madueke he's 22 only really played in the Eredivise scored 11 in over 50 appearances. It doesn’t really feel much different than what our 19yr old Minteh is doing now and people are already saying he should probably go out on loan again? Feel the same about lots of their players, Mudryk, 40 appearances only 4 goals, cost 80m and is 23, we got both Barnes and Gordon for less than Mudryk, both English and both give you value with goals. Enzo and Caicedo pair of them cost over 200m, Brighton must be pissing themselves as they have 9m Gilmour who's looked better than the departing Caicedo. I just feel Cole Palmer has carried them all season and if he'd have been missing they'd be right down in the bottom half scrapping around with Bournemouth, Fulham, Wolves etc. I look at that entire squad, the amount of cash they've blown, see hardly any return on players with resale value, and potential I see Levi Colwill and Palmer. And I'm not digging out your post btw, I just don't think they're as good as they've spent, could have been done with less than half the money, and likely had better success. -

Where's this from -
He was close to the end of his contract, and also wanted that big move. We did ok under the circumstances, of course a bigger fee would have been nice. I'm not rewriting or pretending shit

Wasn't he like 3m and sold for 20m Cabaye? Short memories, Sissoko 1.5m sold for 30m. 20 x his value, and in fairness he was shit. We did well there. In this sort of market now, that strategy wouldn't be so bad, because in fairness to Carr he'd have owners who wouldn't have baulked at Hazard and Aubameyang, the guy didn't just fly to France with no idea, he watched players for years, Tiote was scouted for 4 seasons on and off, he remembered watching Cabaye and recognised his quality in an under 18s tournament for France. Think Carr did alright with the people he unfortunately worked under, he desperately advised us to sign Aubameyang and Eden Hazard only to be ignored by the idiots running and owning the club, the guy could certainly spot talent. Good little read here, https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-8761341/amp/Super-scout-Graham-Carr-reveals-Newcastle-United.html you need to scroll past the bits about his son Alan, and you'll get to the truths about him working under Ashley! Like this litte extract here, 'Mike sometimes called by here with the helicopter. He'd sit where you are, having a slice of toast. 'I learned you had to be positive with Mike, convince him. One of my first dealings with him, I was in North Shields with my wife and was told to be ready for a conference call. 'I panicked, I'd never been on one, I was driving around the coast charging my phone! We started talking about Ben Arfa. Mike had this thing with a 4-4-2, first-team players on £40k a week and understudies on £20k. 'He couldn't understand why we'd want Hatem and Jonas Gutierrez, two left wingers, on £40k. I knew Hatem could be brilliant, so I cut in, 'He's a No 10, actually, and he can cut in from the right'. That was it, done. 'But he had this plan — buy them younger than 25, with sell-on value. If I asked him to spend £10m on a 29-year-old, he'd f***ing laugh at me. Over time, that plan hasn't worked. But I do believe that he meant well.' It certainly worked in 2012 when Carr's signings, under Alan Pardew, finished fifth in the Premier League.

You mean Graham Carr ?

Curious of the members who have had the most success, from when each ballot opens when do you apply...... immediately/ within the first 48hrs/ Or days after, I'm just wondering with how random it is, if it actually makes a difference.

Gutted to have to wait for this, momentum is building, hope we continue this great form we've hit. -
Yes we'll have him.

Not sure if posted already

Sorry I was being sarcastic, but it does feel like Howe would always choose Burn and then Livramento out of position over him. He's like a more natural left back, but Howe has him way down the list.
