Think we'll win, but I'm not feeling this make or break bullshit people are peddling. -
@Hanshithispantz You deserve a medal for taking the time to respond to that shite. Well done

Some of you just don't get it do you. We had some form/momentum building under really difficult circumstances. I'm forgetting though, we're now up against the new fans, the ones who've been around in the last three seasons probably, they know everything, from now, to reading Wikipedia Or is it the new wum (Mackem) sign ups?

How's it disingenuous, wtf are you talking about.

On present form we were undefeated in 5, the only two losses sandwiching were Man City the game before our recent undefeated run, and Arsenal currently stopping the run, Arsenal who sit currently top of the form chart, and were at home, and currently involved in a title race. There's nothing to say we can't or won't put another run together, especially with players returning, I'm not putting my house on a top ten, but I'm confident we'll/Howe will achieve 10 or higher. The fixtures appear to look kinder to us in this final quarter. ??

Who are the top six these days though? You might argue its fair to say there's a definitive top two or three, but Man Utd, Chelsea, Spurs, even the side currently top of the league this season finished outside the top six last season. Since the takeover we are now floating around with, Man Utd, Spurs, Brighton, Villa, West Ham, and Chelsea, sides trying to make a claim for European football. That's already progress, we used to be floating around with, Palace,Fulham,Wolves,Everton, Brentford, hoping for mid table. And prior to that fought relegation a few seasons on the trot. I really don't mind the slow progress at all.

Are people actually turning on Howe We have the stupidest moron fanbase at times. We'll finish in the top 10, which is a reasonable placement for the unfortunate events that have gone on, mega, mega injuries I'd dare say longest in my nearly 40yrs support, and a bizarre transfer window, one key player unavailable, the other advised badly, stopping the manager being able to use him effectively. Howe is doing well with what he's got, people need to just apply common sense at times.

He's popped in with a few goals here and there to help, and he has been a grafter in the past, but there's a list of possibly five or six who should be seived out. I think you have to look at sides like Palace, Burnley, Everton, these slow workmen type sides where he'd fit. He's obviously better than a Will Hughes at Palace, or should Everton sell Onana, he might be a cheap alternative? I could see someone buying him, or, he just becomes our bench player where he'd probably be ok as a back up to our key players. In terms of Fifa negotiations, he becomes sporadic instead of important.

Eddie was fairly honest in his post match presser, I could see he wasn't happy, he didn't really hide from any of the questions, also when asked about the positives, he went on to mention Joe Willock and Isak getting minutes were the only real positives. For me it seemed like the players have let him down, a total lethargic first half, he mentioned they'd worked on defending set pieces all week, only for everyone to forget when it matters. Actually felt sorry for him, trusting he will have put together a strategy, that many could not put into action.

Really wouldn't have risked Joe Willock, would have used Lewis Hall.
