I mean overall, Swansea is nowhere near as nice as Brighton (or Newcastle)... in my opinion, obviously. -

What a bizarre decision. Swansea is a shithole of a place and they are hardly an amazing club to want to play for... He'd also be behind Llorente? Would have made more sense if he sacked us off for Brighton. -
That graphic doesn't take into account the tickets that will be held back for general sale - the graphic shows every available seat. They'll stop selling them when they get to around 3,000 seats remaining, so effectively there is even less availability than that shows.

Even though I've already passed and have been driving for some time, I might just book a block of 20 lessons with him and sit talking about how excellent we were last season and how Mitro is good enough to play for Barca.
-
1,000 season tickets sold within the first day of sales.

Sky seem to think a deal could be agreed to sell the club by the end of the week.

Meh, I don't really follow U21 football to be fair. But the point I was making is still vaguely valid - he's improved year on year and is better now than he was x years ago. He'd still massively improve the current team.
-
Kane went to the Euros last year and too the U-21 world cup the season before, you'd imagine he'd want a summer to recover. Not necessarily saying any of them should have been there, just pointing out that the squad would have looked a lot more impressive had they been. Same probably goes for a few of the other big nations, mind, I haven't really paid much attention. Kane was utter s**** for the U21s in the last Euros IIRC. Shoot on sight, incredibly selfish, even by his usual standards. Not really sure what the point of this post is, 4 years ago Kane was on loan at Leicester in the Championship and absolutely nothing like the level he is now. Of course he'd make a huge difference if he was playing in this tournament, which was the original point.

Newcastle United transfer rumours in the press

He seems to think (and has done all summer) that we want 8 signings - which would be ideal. -
Imagine having so much debt your whole club is worth less than Sissoko and Wijnaldum.
-
No payment required tomorrow, you'll need to fill in a direct debit form. I'd expect there to be a fairly sizeable queue.

Wasn't sure where to put this... Utterly shocked by that like

Do they have any staff on their books like? Who will take pre-season training now, the kitman?

If we manage to get any sort of fee for Colback, we've done incredible business. -

I've criticised him in the past and don't think he's good enough for an Arsenal type team but he'd be an outstanding signing for us Not that we'd get him mind. The 'not that we'd get him' thing is still a thing eh. Rafa f***ing Benitez is our manager, have you learned nothing? I'm hoping this was sarcastic. If it is, ignore the below. Giroud would/will have offers from teams that can give him a lot more than we can, including from his native France. It's ridiculous to compare the two situations as they are nothing alike. To even think that a mewly promoted team would attract a player like Giroud just lives up to the deluded name we get - he'll be playing in Europe next season. Maybe next season, or the season after but this season? Think if you're expecting signings like this then you'll have a disappointing summer. -

Would much rather get Lucas who is available for around 4m Why? Lucas is trash now, which is why he's available for 4m. He's a massive improvement on Colback. -
Thread title needs changing like, it's just The Telegraph talking utter shit.
-
Gives The Telegraph a good excuse for being shit with their transfer links though.
-
Just keep them where they are and fuck off this totally shit and pointless rule. I'd prefer it if we were just stubborn and gave them one small block in a corner somewhere and kept the rest in Level 7, which would ruin the atmosphere for them further and go against everything they want to achieve by doing it.

Sunderland CEO Martin Bain said: “We have been in discussions with a number of potential manager candidates over recent weeks. In the last few days we have been negotiating with Aberdeen Football Club in order to allow us to speak with Derek McInnes. Having held initial discussions, both ourselves and Derek have decided not to progress with further talks and we will continue with our recruitment process”.
