Newcastle United transfer rumours in the press
Figures 1-0 Football replied to Kaizero's topic in Football
All they do is post whats being said in the press, hardly offensive It is a totally pointless twitter page like. A place that rounds up all transfers rumours for the club I support is pretty useful to me like I agree, you could argue it does the same job as this thread This thread is totally different because it is an open discussion around each rumour. -
Florian Lejeune (now playing for Rayo Vallecano)

I think Lascelles, Mbemba, Clark and Lejeune is a decent quartet of CB's to be going into the season with (expecting Hanley to leave). Providing none of them leave, I think we're fairly set in this area. I expect the four of them to be rotated fairly regularly, but Clark and one other will be the main starters and I'd be surprised if we've bought Lejeune to do anything other than start with Clark. Never seen him play and know absolutely nothing about him mind. -

They may as well just close down and put a link to this: http://www.newsnow.co.uk/h/?search=newcastle+united&lang=en&searchheadlines=1 Which unsurprisingly has picked up on the made up rumours of Bas Dost. It just irritates me having to wade through their tweets that regurgitate the exact same information from the other tweets under the exact same hashtag. -
They are in the "we're gonna rip up the Championship" stage of their mackematics. Will be hilarious to watch them struggle to make midtable.

Didn't realise how freakishly tall he was like. -

How much did we pay for him? -

We've pretty much ignored the obvious gaps since Ashley bought the club and just went for the player most likely to bring in a profit for the club. -
£60m on Pickford and Keane ffs

Ah, that good old English fee calculation.

I'd be happy to take any of them, to be fair. -

Actually they haven't made any yet, these are just their primary targets. Glad you pointed that out, thanks so much.

They are making the bottom half signings that I hoped they would do. Hopefully they'll get sucked into a relegation battle, it'd be delicious.

Cant wait to see how he gets on during his loan spell at Levante in 2018/19. -

The transfer news is undoubtedly going to be Lejeune, which we've known is happening for about four weeks. Will be happy/impressed/excited/erect if it is anyone else (or in addition) though. -
A very boring set of minutes that don't really tell us anything we didn't already know/speculate.
-
Does the panel of referees watching the video not get a chance to say "er, I think that sort of thing is a red card"? Farcical.
-
Unreal.
-
Poor lad? He could quite easy get rid of his agent, but no, he's more than happy to lap up the wages, signing on fee, bonuses etc. that he'll get. A complete waste of a footballer, chasing money rather than success.
-
I never knew that like. What does that entail? Is it just his height effected?
-
Well that's me convinced now, I really needed to see a "COME ON TOONS" before I was happy with where we are at.

Steve Nickson - Hired as 'Head of Recruitment'

I presume that Rod was/is a scout under Nickson's management then?
