Leicester have just been made favourites to sign Kelechi Iheanacho from nowhere.
-
I'd imagine it is just evidence that there is absolutely zero transfer budget.

Oh fucking hell

Disappointed to see Magpie Movers are now £30 like, bit of a steep increase.

Newcastle United transfer rumours in the press
Figures 1-0 Football replied to Kaizero's topic in Football
Leicester have just dropped from 8/13 to 1/5 to sign Maguire, looks like they are the club in for him. -
Tammy Abraham joins Swansea

Abraham is on England U21 duty at Euro U21, so doubt anything will be done until they are knocked out and return home. Edit - He ignored Sky's questions about his future really. Smiled when asked if he knew what was happening with his future and said he'll focus on club football at the end of the tournament. -

The way it is put, it looks like they're going to two different clubs. Edit - Leicester 8/13 favourites for Maguire. Double Edit - Liverpool 4/6 favourites for Robertson (we are 6/4). -

Yotta, I believe. He looked good every time I saw him last season, but that was restricted to about four games. -
Because he's a massive lads fan, I cant help but want his career to crash and burn. How much does all of this mean Woodman is worth after winning the World Cup? £100m?
-
Sounds about right. Sky say £25m with £5m in add ons fwiw. Doesn't say how the £25m is structured though, so it could be £15m upfront and then £5m each season. Unless Everton sell him in January, then they get him for free.
-
Is there also not rumours of Sunday 11:30/12:00 kick offs? To please the overseas (particularly Asian market) ensuring that there is a game on during prime time over there. I much prefer early kick offs to late ones, to be honest.

The £30m will be a drop in the ocean compared to the drop in TV money, PL prize money, matchday income. They've now lost two of their star players, still have absolutely no way of replacing them, have no manager and have the prospect of losing more players. They of course can gamble (as Villa did) and spend loads hoping to come straight back up, but if they don't, they are in deep deep shit.
-
Ah the good old English supplement. Think of a reasonable fee... Double it... Add £2m = you have the fee for an English player. He really isn't that great like
-
And potentially, this is the other option. Which again, would work well for Ashley.
-
It'd be more like 25% for £75m-£90m and the agreement that the investors will contribute £20m for transfers and an obligation to reduce some of the debt (for example). The investors would gain a 'foot in the door' at a reasonable price, whereas Mike would gain some of his money back with further investment put into the club. If the investment works well (we sign some decent players and finish well in the league), then the valuation of NUFC will go up and if/when the investors want to purchase NUFC outright, they'll pay more than they would today even taking into account their small discount on their 25%, which would make Ashley happy. Of course it'd make more sense for a complete takeover, but if Ashley does not want to do this then the only option for the investors is to buy a partial stake and wait for the opportunity for a complete takeover. These people have a worth of like £4bn, they're more than happy to wait around a bit to get what they want.

Makes the comments Ashley made post-season more interesting...

"A number of international investors, including a Chinese consortium, trying to buy NUFC" - SSN just now.

Graves seems to think the interest is "very genuine".

Oh aye, it's all but guaranteed if we do get taken over it'll be by some absolute crackheads and it'll turn out to be a nightmare.

Cant wait for Mendes to recommend a manager from the Portuguese 4th tier to the new owners and Rafa get sacked.
