We simply don't have the players to play a great style of football. Other than Shelvey, Ritchie and Clark - we don't have anyone in the team who can play a fast paced, loaded attacking or passing style of play. If we tried to play like that we'd lose matches because they'd constantly get caught out. Rafa has set up this team to their strengths, which is why we're top of the league. If we tried to play the way some people want, we'd not be.

Even though I believe it's been a total hyperbole reaction, it is a sexist remark like. "Even if you are a woman..." "Even if you are a black man..." "Even if you are a frail old person..." Each one of them comments is drawing specific reference to someone's protected characteristic and the use of "even if" suggests that this person is inferior. Each of these comments should be treated in the same manner (sexist, racist, ageist) and you just cant say these things. Unless the lass comes forward and explains that it was a joke between them both, he should certainly get some sort of punishment for it. I just hope he doesn't get sacked, as he's doing a great job at the minute.

We could seal promotion at home to Leeds on Good Friday. It's unlikely, but it's the earliest we could do it. If we win our next three (Burton (h), Sheff Wed (a), Leeds (h)) and Huddersfield, Reading and Leeds are not on at least 75 points - we'll be up. If we win those three games, we'll be promoted unless: Leeds win both of their next two Brentford (a), Preston (h). Huddersfield would need at least 4 points from Norwich (h), Forest (a), Preston (h). Reading would need at least 5 points from Blackburn (h), Norwich (a), Villa (a). Fulham would need to win all three of their next games Derby (a), Ipswich (h), Norwich (a). We'd technically be promoted on the Saturday though, because Reading don't play Villa until then. But if they lose both of their next two, then we'd be up after the Leeds game. Sunday boredom led to this.
