Wasn't that changed after McManaman assaulted Haidara? They can face retrospective bans if the officials admit they got it wrong.

DoF role somewhere. Stated when he was here and appointed on that bizarre board that he'd like a boardroom position in the future.

Don't you want to get to the final then?

Remember when Arsenal spent the match diving all over the shop and Keown sat there bold as brass on MOTD acting like we've just killed them. Coquelin's 20 foot somersault in the air being a particular highlight. With Keown describing the tackle as a "reducer" or something daft.

It'll probably be on camera and they'll have seen it all like, doesn't really matter who did what, if they were all in a group acting in a threatening way they can be slapped with a public order offence. Whether they were drunk doesn't really matter either (I suppose it could score some points of sympathy with the judge on the day), it's still the same charge. Not sure if footballers see leniency like, but it's definitely not highly unlikely to result in a custodial sentence. It's a really serious charge. The point that I was making, is that VD is a lot 'less of an offence' than assault/ABH/GBH in the incident that occurred. It's not like there was a full scale riot, it was a drunken brawl in a bar. VD is usually slapped on someone when a group of people (3 or more) are involved in a ruckus but the CPS decide that there is insufficient evidence to charge them with any of the above three. For example, CCTV shows a commotion but they are out of shot or blocked when the blow is made that causes the damage to the victim.

More good news for us - with Derby hosting Huddersfield in April.

Violent disorder is a public order offence and in this situation (what appears to be a drunken bar brawl) is highly unlikely to result in a custodial sentence. Especially if he's got a clean record. I'd assume he (and the rest of them) have been charged with VD rather than any sort of individual assault because they are unable to prove which of the individuals actually struck the blows.

3 more years until Carr is out of contract. -
Idiot. Five first team appearances and he goes around acting like a tit.

Thanks, Neesy. You cannot please everyone in this world and people are not the same as they are on the internet.

Cannot believe that people are seriously suggesting that Rafa is making hard work of this league. There is not a single manager in the world who would have us any better off than we are right now. The reason we are not having a Villa-type season is because we have Rafa in charge. Our club was a complete mess in May last year and we were saved by Rafa. Imagine the likes of Ritchie and Gayle dropping down a division to play tika-taka football for Nigel Pearson ffs. Managers nearly always play to a system they like and build teams around that, Rafa has had one window to build his team as he was handicapped from above in January. It'll take another two or three windows until Rafa has a team capable of playing to his system perfectly. We will have bumps along the road, but we're top of the fucking league and odds on to get promoted. If you honestly believe anyone else (especially anyone we could have even attracted) could have done better than Rafa is doing now - then delete your account on here, contact your internet provider and get it cancelled and go and watching something tedious and boring like bowls because you're a total twat.

This. Please ignore these fucking idiots, TheDonis.

Rafa punched a kitten in the face after someone groaned due to a misplaced pass. -
He's another player who is absolutely superb when everything is going well, but is absolutely trash and a liability when they are not. Hopefully Rafa can take the second part of that out of him.

Usually I'd want the underdog to win, but based on the fact the underdog is Millwall I'm hoping for a 6-0 home win.

Such a clear pen that was.

You might not have noticed the changes because our players were still passing to Fulham players rather than each other. But there was a definite change in tactics which led to us improving after the break, albeit slightly because the players were still piss poor.
-
But he did try and change it. It worked in parts as well, we were much better in the second half. When you're chasing a game you're always vulnerable to conceding especially against a team as pacey as Fulham. I'm sure when Rafa changed it at HT, he didn't expect Dummett to give Fulham a two goal lead or Clark to have to come off injured. I've not looked but I'm sure the stats will evidence this too. Especially when I think Fulham scored their 2nd and 3rd with pretty much their only attempts in the second half. Both goals coming on the break as mentioned above.

I'm not absolving him of all blame at all. There are times that he gets it wrong, but yesterday's defeat was not solely down to his tactical choices and was mainly due to the ineffectiveness of those on the pitch. It was clear what Rafa wanted us to do yesterday, press Fulham and release Gayle early. It was a tactic that easily could have worked, Fulham were playing a very high line and there was a lot of space for Gayle to run into. However, the execution of the players on the pitch was p*ss poor. Ritchie clearly frustrated after 5 minutes that Colback and Dummett were not pressing. This then went around the team, heads dropped and more and more players started playing poorly. The balls to Gayle were ridiculously wide of the mark and impossible for him to latch onto. We actually started relatively well, we dropped off after about 15 minutes and then lost any control of the game completely. Second half there was a clear change, we attempted to play with the ball a bit more but were always vulnerable to Fulham playing on the break - which they did twice and scored two further goals.
