  1. So, season ticket holders are "t***s"? I wouldn't go that far, but they a very much part of the problem.
  2. Because they have nothing else to do in the weekend. It's not like Newcastle's a metropolitan city with lots to do, and different places to go. Late to the party, but who the fuck is this absolute bellend?
  3. Collymore tweeted something referring to debts and links between London & Doha then deleted it. He clearly knows something juicy about Keys......
  4. Conn is an excellent writer and one of the leading football journos when it comes to football finances. I've heard him speak before and it's fair to say he fucking hates Ashley.
  5. Harper Solano Onyewu Bramble Carr Dyer Parker Butt Milner Owen Martins The side in our last home game before Ashley bought the club, costing approx £65M.......Eleven years later and despite the PL being awash with money, we're forced to put out sides costing appoximately half of that. No money spent on players, literally pennies spent on the infrastructure of the club and the debt has roughly doubled....quite simply, where has the money gone?? f***ing disgrace.
  6. He makes the new Coldwar Steve, things are looking up?

  8. 1978-1982 and 1990-1992 What did you do about it at the time? And to be fair, I was 10 in 1978 so couldn't have cared less how s*** it was as I was a starry eyed kid and just wanted to go to the match. 1990-92 I went home and away every week missing only the odd away game and even though the football was mostly atrocious it was a laugh with mates and was p*ssed most of the time anyway. But even back then, it was always the hope that kept you going......hope that you'd have a decent cup run, and one day we'd be back in the big league. There is literally no hope nowadays, especially when Benitez goes at the end of the season.
  9. Agreed, if he was using the income at the club to improve the squad and the infrastructure, then maybe you could justify spending money there....but he isn't. You can't pretend you're boycotting Ashley & SD, and continue to put cash into NUFC, it really is that simple.
  10. I've stopped watching football completely this season and really don't miss it at all. Might just be an age thing but it seems to me the game I grew up loving just doesn't exist any more. I walked away after the Chelsea game, and haven't watched a minute of us since. As far as football goes, I've watched 3 live games all season and they were all on in the pub.......however, watched virtually every game in the World Cup, so my love for the game is still there. Talked to my Dad at the weekend, and he's giving up at the end of the season unless Ashley goes, and he's been a regular since 1950. Sad times indeed.
  11. I grew up supporting Newcastle when every classmate supported Liverpool. I got nothing but grief my entire school life. My mrs and her dad are avid Liverpool fans who have little sympathy for our plight. Liverpool can get to f***. I’d rather president Assad get the premiership title than Liverpool. So did I fella, although some of them jumped on to our bandwagon under the Keegan years, which I love to remind them about. I despised them growing up, and would take great pleasure whenever they lost, which rarely happened....I also find people who latch onto clubs that they have no affinity with, purely because of success to be bottom of the football fan gene pool.....but I often take great pleasure in telling said people this. However if you look at it rationally, they are still a proper club, who have built themselves the right way, ditto Man United & Arsenal. There's lots to be admired about Klopp and his team, and genuine Scouse LFC fans, are usually spot on in my experience......far rather them, than some manufactured entity built on billions of pounds of tainted money who have cheated their way to where they are.....Man City, Chelsea, PSG etc. Fuck them.
  12. Because Liverpool winning it is the alternative? I don't get that either, the top four or five teams are all trying to buy the title. The money Liverpool spend comes from the revenue they as one of the worlds historicalky massive clubs are naturally able to generate. They weren't always a massive club, don't think they were much bigger than Man City at one point until the Shankly revolution. Guess you can say the same for most clubs that become successful and big. Shankly built Liverpool in a proper manner not through being bankrolled by dodgy money Exactly. There's some really interesting stuff out there about Man City's systematic cheating and how UEFA helped them..... https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.france24.com/en/20181103-uefa-football-leaks-psg-man-city-financial-fair-play-rules-platini-infantino-sarkozy-fifa
  13. They are literally a propaganda tool for human rights abusers. Some things are more important than Liverpool being a bit annoying Indeed. Vile club.
  14. I know too many gloryhunter Liverpool fans from up here Same here, I grew up with loads in the 70s and 80s when they were dominant, that said, all the genuine LFC fans I know are spot on and I've never had any mither there. They are definitely a proper football club though, City are a fucking sham that have bought & cheated their way to where they are, they also have fucking awful fans who can't be bothered to go half the time.
  15. Not sure how anyone could want that cheating fraud of a club to win.
  16. Lovely goal. As much as I hated Liverpool growing up, would like to see them win the league......much more than these financial cheats anyway.

    Athletico Mince

Aye enjoyed that, love the Roy Hodgson Warhammer stuff too.
  18. Very much this.......there was some whingeing and moaning (as every other manager has experienced at SJP) but in no way it can be described as 'hounding' him out. I'm just amazed a fellow NUFC fan could describe it as thus.
  19. Same, it was piss poor.......but most were pissed off with our end of season capitulation and the attitude of some of the players. Ludicrous to suggest that Robson was hounded out by the fans imho.
  20. You don’t actually believe this, do you? His last three seasons.. 4th, 3rd, 5th Ever since (minus the Championship seasons).. 14th, 7th, 13th, 12th, 18th, 12th, 5th, 16th, 10th, 15th, 18th, 10th It’s an average placing of 13th for every year in the Premier League since SBR left. What other club could consistently be total dogshit and yet still think we’re something special? I think it was the hounding out Robson comment he was referring to, it's the type of thing the Mackems say......in what way was he hounded out? Ok grand stuff, let’s skip around a well made point than shall we. On Robson, again let’s not revise history. The boo boys were out. Not loads, but enough to make Freddie Shepherd take notice. I thought at the time that he’d had his day.. and what a t*** I was to think it. Like any other football club, we’re a fickle bunch of c***s. We drew 2 games and lost to Spurs at SJP and then got beaten heavily by Villa away. That was the end of that. He was hounded out by a section of fans and then the board who’d gotten greedy for CL money. Hounded out suggests there was a concerted effort to get him sacked as manager......he got some flak at Villa Park, you don't know what you're doing was sung for example......but there was no chants for him to be sacked or anything. He wasn't hounded out.
