  1. Yeah, I can see why he’s used it, but I can certainly see how people think of it in reference to what I said. It’s a horrible phrase he’s used in error if that wasn’t his intended reference. He’s been baited by our fans here though, no doubt the Man City fans will also go full in on him. Raab is of Jewish heritage as well, fucking awful tweet. He's gone full Jordan Pickford when I comes to all things NUFC
  2. Some ball from Ospina that mind!

Are these tramps in administration yet?
  4. Exactly. You can even download Kodi from the official Microsoft Store, whack on a build and you've got as much free football as you can shake a stick at.
  5. Are people taking on face value that Cengiz is who she says, as there's plenty of people out there (including his own sons) who say they've literally never heard of her? I don't know myself, but there's something not right about how she's gone after this takeover story to me, there certainly seems more to it than her being just a grieving widow.
  6. That's a troll account. Aye clearly, I should have checked before posting.
  7. Don't think it mentions PIF lawyers specifically unless I missed it. Just says they've had it confirmed from both Qatar and Saudi lawyers that PIF is a separate legal entity. The PL themselves have even referred to it as a private company when replying to Khasshogi's fiance. My take is that they gave unofficial approval to the Saudi's a couple of weeks ago, hence the excitement, but then had a legal challenge about the piracy issues from one of the clubs and/or their partners, which they've been trying to deal with since.
  8. Bloke in his 40's pretending to be a lass. Absolute fucking weirdo.
  9. NUFC v Barcelona on BT Sport 1 right now.
  10. Totally agree, I think they'll be under quite a bit of pressure from the government to make sure this goes through, as there's no way they'll want to risk any loss in trade with the Saudis on the back of an already damaged economy and an almost certain no deal Brexit. Can't see the PL walking away from a possible lucrative TV deal with KSA too.
  11. That's exactly the sort of thing I was on about earlier when I was talking about the Trust writing to the PL about making a decision.
  12. Totally agree. The club is drifting along aimlessly with an owner who doesn't want to be there and there are issues that need addressing...fan ticket refunds being one of them. I think the people at nufctsust should be pressuring the PL to get this sorted asap, as it's definitely have a detrimental effect on the club and the fanbase. Where's Greg? They already have chased the club. Did you not get your NUST email last week? I did, but I think they should be putting pressure on the PL as well for an answer on the takeover as it's having a negative/disruptive effect on the whole club imho.

  14. They're probably buying West Ham now. FFS
  15. I'd almost forgotten how much I hated that cunt.
  16. Maybe the PL are looking from compensation from the Saudis for their part in the piracy? Okay, you can buy NUFC but we want £300M in compensation for stealing our intellectual property......or you agree to bid x amount for the next round of middle east tv rights.
  17. I must admit, reading that article last night felt like the moment Fenton equalised against us for Blackburn in 95/96. I'm just about over that season, if we lose this takeover I think it would feel similar.
  18. I'm not sure why the PL wouldn't want this to go ahead personally. They can kill off the Saudi piracy issue with assurances from MBS, and also probably renegotiate a much better deal for that region next time around. Do they really want to walk away from all that potential revenue the Saudis could bring in, especially when their finances are under pressure from Covid. Plus there's the pressure they're undoubtedly under from the UK government to make this happen (Keys had alluded to it). Obviously there is plenty of opposition within the PL and current TV partners they have to deal with, and the human rights stuff they have to consider, but at the end of the day, money talks.
  19. That whole thread is probably the most enlightening I've read on the whole piracy subject, well worth a read. Feeling a bit more positive after reading that too.
  20. The WTO are a shambles nowadays, loads of scandal surrounding them and their leadership.
  21. Here it comes, the massive kick in the plums we've been waiting for.......
  22. Oh my days, bewtiful marra.
  23. I suspect the thing about the players wanting Bruce is poetic licence based on the square root of fuck all. If they genuinely think he's a better option than Rafa or Poch, they shouldn't be anywhere near a club with ambition.
