Inter fans not happy about the price which I suppose is fair enough
-
I watch so many games, listen to so many football podcasts and play a load of FIFA and there's still so many players I have no clue about
-
Spurs were tipped to finish top 3 by the majority preseason. Aye it went tits up for them but even 3/4 the way through a bad season they had a decent chance for top 4. They'll have a strong squad going into this season and it's not daft to think they could finish above us next year. Aye we are going to be a better project long term but it could still be 4/5 years before we can even compete financially with the other top 6 sides. I think a certain section of our fan base has became really arrogant after our first great season in years.

I don't know what the RRP was but you could always get them on 'offer' under Adidas. There seemed to be a lot of undercutting from various stores and different sort of gifts often included. For example you could get free printing, footballs or NUFC bags certain years. £25/£35 my dad seems to think he'd pay for me and my brother's.

We made champions league by shrewd signings and a brilliant manager getting the most out of what should never have been a top 4 squad. Other teams spent a fortune from much better starting points than us and we finished ahead of them. We are going to have a much better squad come the start of the season, too. Aye it's going to be hard but there should be no doubt or sense of disappointment in the direction we are heading. Have trust in the owners and manager.

Heard from a mate who works in town as a DJ that he was banned from a number of bars/clubs a couple years back. Seemed out of character but makes alot more sense when you hear about his depression and struggles. Glad he's got through that patch in his life and proved a lot of people wrong including myself in being a key player in a top 4 side.

Think for us and Arsenal that 'overachieved' you probably have to spend that £150/200m in the summer just to not fall behind before even think about closing the gap. Think both could improve their squads quite a bit and it will still be a real challenge to match last season.

When it's been so long without a trophy for sides like ourselves or West Ham then it's pretty clear what the better season is. Or at least the prize is better. That said we are one of the few clubs outside the top 6 that have the potential to break it. West Ham finishing in the top 4 aren't in the same position to build on it like we will be able to. So I guess for the 'project' top 4 is better than it can accelerate our growth and lead to competing for trophies more regularly quicker. I think what we've done has been more impressive and difficult too. But aye you'd still take a trophy over it really.

Just goes to show what we are up against really. Arsenal potentially signing Rice and Caciedo (probably our whole summer budget on two players) and our transfer thread is discussing McTominay or Adams. That's not a dig either, it's just why it's so hard to break and compete against the big 6 consistently. You have to operate on a smaller budget, targeting more 'riskier' players whilst having to maintain a good hit rate and perform above the sum of your parts. These sides can afford to drop 80/100m on players and have them be flops and it not effect them.

I've watched a fair few Ben Foster podcasts where ex players rave about SJP and the atmosphere. And that's generally ones who've played here when we've been shite. I think if it was purely a stadium choice the vast majority would rather play here than at Spurs. For all the talk about Levy being tight I could easily see him paying £50m for Maddison though. They dropped that on Richarlison last summer just to add some depth. That's if they want him of course, if not I reckon we'd be the only other top side in for him and would probably be able to get him around £40m.

"Thank you for your continued support" whilst we make you ticketless and add you to a waiting list in the unlikely event you may get entered into a ballot. I'd be fuming
-
Rice nailed on to leave now if he wasn't already then surely? Good way to end his spell there.

I mean Roma were a pen shootout away from winning the Europa League a year after winning the conference. It's not like it's just full of minnows either. Lazio, Fiorentina, Villarreal amongst others are sides with decent European pedigree. English sides despite being much better than the competition in the Europa League usually struggle so can't knock West Ham for this.
-
Would genuinely ruin my enjoyment if we won a European cup and had Savage acting like this about us.
-
Savage is the absolute worst.
-
If there's only a small number of ST holders effected the club should allow them alternative seats, like. It's bollocks that you're already paying more than the average ST holder and then being punished for a ridiculous price hike. Can't expect people to drop £14k or lose their ST, man.
-
There's a bloke on YouTube who goes around all the grounds reviewing the 'padded seat' areas of clubs. For the price ours doesn't look great, like. Food looks like something you'd get at a school canteen

I think he was saying Pep does it differently now as Stones is moving into that role from CB rather than the way he used to do it with fullbacks? Arsenal and Liverpool seem to use Peps old method of just inverting a fullback. City aren't really using fullbacks now but rather 4 CBs that turns into a 3 in possession. I think Pep said something about noticing playing CBs out wide meant they won a lot more duels and physical battles so they're stronger defensively, got more height for set pieces and can still have an additional body in midfield in possession now.
-
Aye mine don't knock at all either, even if it's pissing down with rain they'll just hoy them outside the door
-
Perhaps the general quality is quite good but they just let a lot of bad ones get through as well? I think there's enough people with complaints that there are obviously issues with them. Probably wouldn't be as bad if people weren't waiting months for refunds or not even able to get a replacement for what they ordered like NSG just on this page.
-
People were getting sent completely different shirts. Or ones with no sponsors, or misaligned or fucked badges. Some people waited months for delivery or didn't even receive anything at all. Think a couple on here had training gear or something that just fell apart after a couple of washes too. Seems they have a big quality control issue as well as delivery/customer service problems. Some seem to swear by the quality but to me their whole operation seems to be done on the cheap whilst charging premium prices.

We had to disrupt the preferred double Joe left side and looked worse for it and Bruno had to play a fair few games through injury. I mean aye we made top 4 in the end but we were clearly suffering due to our lack of depth at CM.
-
Hard to tell if Tielemans legs have just gone early or he had just totally given up for Leicester as he knew was always off on a free. He's looked fairly terrible for the last 18 months or so either way.

Wish I could just switch off and wait for the confirmed transfers out of nowhere to happen. Know I'll be checking this thread daily regardless though. At least we won't have the daily Paqeuta posts or people begging Ando for info this summer. At least I hope
