  1. By God Chelsea have been boring as feck.
  2. I read a few comments from people at the game suggesting that's exactly what happened- the photo doesn't say much admittedly. Has happened a few times in Senior Cup games over the years, then a few years down the line they are playing for Benfield. Fuss over nowt in the end.
  3. Are you saying that you think Snodgrass injured Sean on purpose ?
  4. That photo means nowt without the full knowledge of what was said, the Morpeth could have took the piss out of our player to get a reaction, if that's even the reaction they're saying it is.

    Football pet hates

'Unnatural Position' Yeah fuck right off.
  6. If your arms were taken off and shoved up your arse or glued to your forehead then yeah, that's an unnatural position. While attached and able to move naturally, up, down, whirling around like a fucking windmill, they're all fairly natural as a human being if your arms don't fly off or dislocate Maybe use the phrases, trying to stop the ball with the arm, 'Arm out' 'Arm up', making yourself a bigger blocker using the arms or whatever, some such phrase someone with a better mind can come up with. 'Unnatural position' just annoys me for a deranged reason in football, Over to the pet hate thread i go

    Antonio Barreca

It's what happens when you're tight and leave things until the last minute, just the left overs to pick from for peanuts
  8. Their starting 11 looks pretty woeful too. Ashley Young making a return to the right wing at the age of 33. Wing back, playing 3 at the back apparently.
  9. 1: You are given a 1-0 this season, which game do you chose to win? (Has to be a league game): Chelsea 2: You are given 1 club to be relegated from the Premier League, who do you chose?: Liverpool 3: You are given one club to win the Champions League, who do you chose? (Club has to be in the Champions League or Champions League regular): Tottenham 4: Would you rather win the Europa Leauge or the FA Cup?: FA Cup 5: One club to be promoted from the Championship?: Ipswich Town 6: Who would you prefer to win the SPL, Celtic or Rangers?: Neither 7: You are asked for 1 manager to be sacked?: Klopp 8: A club other than the club you support to win their respective league?: Virtus Andria
  10. My opinion is buyers have looked at the books and value the club for less than what Ashley wants, no one is touching Ashley value as it's too much once they know the ins and outs of the business.
  11. Never a red card in million years, yellow was harsh imo as well. Aye he got there second but not every tackle is a booking, not that you would think the way the game is officiated now but Longstaff tackle was genuine, without excessive force and wasn't in anyway studs up.
  12. We lost 4 (in a row) out of the last 5 last season, job was done by then mind. Give the Rafa at least £50m and see what happens, give him enough money to have a proper squad to cover an injuries or tiredness, i bet we finish in the top ten.
  13. Well it's a great night all round, along with my sausage and chip butties
  14. If we had a proper fleshed out squad then when Ayoze has dips in form he could be rotated out, he's certainly a player who has dips in form but with limited numbers Rafa couldn't rotate him to give a break.
  15. Remember when some people said he was too tactically stubborn to move away from using 4-2-3-1? The amount of stuff thrown at Rafa in his time here, not just from our own fans but the media and other clubs' fans, I'm surprised he's not walked. I had one of those "are you fucking kidding me" moments watching the cup final over the weekend. Every pundit was licking Sarri's nuts for parking the bus against City. Even John Terry was all "oh yeah, great job keeping City at bay and goalless!" While Rafa got absolute pelters for doing the same thing. Aye made me laugh how Chelsea got called “HEROIC” for producing 0 shots on target in 120 minutes of football with a team worth over £250million on the pitch And yet Gary fucking Neville told us we were completely wrong to do it, it's infuriating to watch them say shit when other teams get praise for a certain way of playing and yet when it's us, it's criticism
  16. Remember when some people said he was too tactically stubborn to move away from using 4-2-3-1? Fwiw i think Rafa would go back to 4-2-3-1 if he was allowed to buy who he wanted, it would look far better with players he knows who would be good in it at proper prices. Imo Rafa has looked at things and thought where can i strengthen with the limited budget i got, 3-4-2-1 is what he's decided on as he managed to sign centre backs fairly cheaply in today's market, building from the back as all good managers do. Again just imo, you don't need to spend mental in the middle of the park as your creativity comes from your attacking midfielders which you can spend more money on. None of that really matters if Fat Mike won't spend properly though
  17. Also if Ashley doesn't spend on infrastructure, the training ground and the Youth Academy we can say a sad goodbye to Rafa. It's not just about transfer funds and buying players.
  18. The answer is within your question.
  19. Were you any good in 04/05? that was a blip, you made it permanent Mike is a jinxing mother fucker
