  1. What's with the stick on saying you want to bond with your kid at football, no one is saying there aren't other things to do. I've done loads of other things with mine when they were nippers but there's nothing like going to football with your little un. The problem a parent has know is kids grow up so quick, do you make them miss something so special now because of Ashley ? A thing you'll never be able to do if Ashley stays for a few more years.
  2. I'd say it's impossible, don't go to games and get at Sports Direct and any company that deals with the them is the way to go imo. I'm also hoping the way the sale, spending and bullshit Ashley/Ferdinand/Keys have come out with lately seems to have been picked up more mainstream coverage, hopefully that continues.
  3. Cancelling a sky subscription is in no way equivalent to not going to a game. Ashley has 52,000 'subscribers' a fortnight. Sky has 22.9 million subscribers a year. The vast majority of which have nothing to do with NUFC. It's a pointless comparison. It's about money is it not ? The point being that if 10,000 Newcastle fans stop going to a game - the empty seats, the financial impact are directly felt by Mike Ashley. Visually, if nothing else, the impact is felt. If 10,000 NUFC fans stop subscribing to Sky it will barely affect their own bottom line. Once that is diluted through the amounts distributed to football, the amounts distributed to the premier league and amounts eventually reaching the club and Mike Ashley, the effect is non-existent. That's it bang on, the symbolism of it makes the impact and i agree that is the correct thing to do. My point is gates don't really fund the club in the way TV money does, i'm in the camp of not going but i'm also not overtly critical of those who do.

  5. Just curious but how many people who have chosen not to go to games (quite rightly) have Sky Sports, BT Sport and Amazon Prime (next season) ? I have Sky and Amazon Prime, i have for far more reasons to have Sky and Amazon Prime than i do to watch football, i could cancel Sky Sports but i watch far more other games than those that involve us. Do i get rid of Sky Sports so then my kids can't watch F1 or Mrs B when she wants to watch fecking netball. Do i get get rid if Sky Sports so i can't watch NFL, Golf or whatever other sport i like to view. I buy loads of stuff on Amazon Prime, watch TV shows and films, so next season do i get rid of that ? Are we all not hypocrites if we don't stop having Sky Sports, BT Sport and Amazon Prime (from next season) ? Those companies fund Ashley and the club far more than a fans tickets do. Bit of a tricky issue if you really want to starve Ashley of money.
  6. Coloccini sent off for San Lorenzo.
  7. ACL that looked like, no one near him when he went down.
  8. This shit is why Dave rage quit like, turning on each other. There's no respect for peoples position whether you agree with them or not, it's turned into one up man ship. I don't think people should go to games now, but I'm not going to turn on them because they do. They were going before this cunt owned us and will go after he's finally gone. Aye it's a different situation to times that have gone before in my opinion but turning on each other is what the cunt wants, division among us.
  9. Rafa must have cleared his bank account out if that's true.
  10. Kinda hoping mad Ahmed Mohammed (previously know as Colin Perkins) will kill Ashley to smithereens. Probably taking a bit too far in reality.
  11. Smashing our transfer record in the process. We now have the lowest record transfer in the whole premier division and the only team who has not broken it in the last 2 years 2005 man..Michael fucking Owen man It comes as no surprise obviously that Ashley refuses to spend, but not being able to spend what we generate is utterly ridiculous and pathetic. The man is fucking mental. This to me is the biggest red flag to anyone an should be investigated as to where the money the club is generating is going to. Lets be honest I very much doubt the clubs bank balance is bursting at the seams. Its all being syphoned off to other interests of his. Wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if our SKY money paid for House of Fraser and Evans Cycles Aye where the hell is the money going, no idea if you're right about that but it simply wouldn't be a shock if it was true.

  13. Watching Monaco v Nice and a red card for a Nice player after the ref looked at Vars, good decision that like.
  14. So a team with less gates and the disadvantage of not being in the Premiership last season financially are about to sign two strikers. While we fiddle as Rome burns, ridiculous.
  15. Thought he was terrible personally, I mean he is in the side to hold the ball up so if he's not doing it, what's the point? Nice finish though. Oh aye his hold up is utterly woeful, he doesn't seem to have a clue how to control and hold the ball for players to get around him, something the lone striker needs to do in Rafa's 4-2-3-1. The flicks and attempted lay offs are pathetic, and very rarely find anyone in a black and white shirt, he did OK in extra time as the game got more stretched. As i said he did OK for him, which is still awful but compared to the first game he was much better.
  16. He was actually ok for him, it was one of his better performances. His hold up play was non existent until extra time when he did it, alright-ish.
  17. Oh ffs can we not have just an hour to be happy

Technically no, but we scored 4 goals and won a FA cup game so we're whizzing off our collective nuts.
