  1. Clark's positioning for the 1st goal is embarrassing, total no mans land.
  2. To be fair he's covering if Hazard beats Mbemba, not much he can do imo.
  3. Gayle has no brain, that offside is Sunday league stuff.
  4. 30th fucking minute again. What is it with us ffs.
  5. Left wing back I imagine Ok, so that would leave manquillo right wing back. So where does Ritchie play?? Behind Gayle? That's how i see it.
  6. Utterly pathetic but some are still going to fall for it.
  7. Ours doesn't, not sure why it's at some grounds and not others. My guess would be camera angles, think they need facing cameras across the pitch for the lines the software adds to be perfect, for offsides.
  8. Not if you're Greg Guardiola it isn't.
  9. Gameweek 25 Swansea 1-3 Arsenal West Ham 1-1 Palace Huddersfield 0-3 Liverpool Chelsea 4-0 Bournemouth Everton 2-1 Leicester Newcastle 2-0 Burnley Southampton 2-1 Brighton Man City 4-0 WBA Stoke 1-1 Watford Spurs 0-0 Man Utd
  10. We do negotiate, less than they want...proving to be exhausting, frustrating and a complete waste of time for the other teams and us as fans.
  11. How would VAR have helped there? Really ? what you don't think the fella on the Vars would have brought it to the refs attention that he got the rules wrong ? I would have thought that the 4th official or one of the two linesman would have done that, to be fair. Very true, still baffles me how none of those officials on the day never said anything to the ref. To get a fundamental rule wrong was amazing really. Fundamental rule. Really ? For all I knew the ref made a bollix that night I also learned some other rules surrounding it. Ah sorry, i referee so it one of those laws (i should say laws, as it's the laws of the game not rules) you just know, and I've played for 40 years and like i say a law you just understand. It's one of those things, a penalty is something where you have time to think about things (after it's given), you have time to have a clear mind so to speak for the taking of it, in my experience anyhoo. For a ref to get encroachment wrong is fundamental error imo, well from my experience of referring. I've got plenty of decisions wrong but i don't think I've ever got a football law wrong when i reffed, not to my knowledge anyhow. Not been reffing this season because i dislocated my elbow playing last season, still having too much pain when i run, i'm too afraid to fall. I was intending to play Vets this season but I've had to give that idea up for now because i'm so worried about hurting it again. Funny thing is i finished the season i hurt it back playing but after the team i played for folded, when i went back to play again for someone else i was too scared.

  14. Blaming a hamstring injury on Vars
  15. Is there anything more flawed than a human being ? i suppose that's why Vars has been brought in, marmite this Vars is going to be.
  16. I fucking hope not, although I'll look forward to the disallowed goal we get ruled out that was perfectly fine
  17. You do in Rugby League which is a rapid fast flowing sport, as it is without rucks and mauls, and it's no worse for it. Even if the ref gets decisions wrong, as in offside or knock ons. Those decisions stay as they are, no need for Football to be any different imo. Posted this before, whenever I watch rugby league it seems like every single try is reviewed. It's almost like a feature on Sky. Don't watch loads, maybe it's just a coincidence. There are a few a match tbf, but in Rugby League you get a lot of tries a game, far more that goals in a football match on average, so that skews it a tad.

Those decisions stay as they are, no need for Football to be any different imo. Isn't that a bit daft though. Bring it in for some decisions but not others.? Not really when you watch it, it's a different sport but the premise of the smaller decisions is valid when you watch a Rugby League match, you never really notice. With Vars it's never going to be liked by some, and this is what ? the 6th match used in this country. If they can iron out the delay in decisions and get it right i don't see why it can't be a success.

  20. Not for those against VAR, still 2-4 for in their football purist minds. I back Vars, just need to speed it up, whack a big screen up so the fans know what's happening, can't be that hard. And Liverpool are still in it, and rightly so because of Vars.
