Got a nice castle in Norwich, so good the highlight was the burger king next door, went there before we played Norwich in a friendly a few years back.

Navas Oggy surely.

Gola Betis.

How is that not a free kick and red for the Real Madrid GK
-
I'm baffled by the use of this, they offer no protection to the defence, play one anchor man and have that be his sole job. Free up the other, drop the 10 back a bit and dominate the midfield with a proper two CM's. With your fullbacks pushing on. This for me would be better, not that real football is a computer game. http://i.imgur.com/CZBKUcQ.png

His mates

Think i would play Clark at LB if fit, The orc alongside Mbemba with Gamez at Rb next game. Lascelles needs a game or two out of the team as well.

That's very true.

Hoying it forward wasn't the problem, it was the way that we did it that was the problem and I doubt he told them to just hoy it forward anyway. I would expect that he did tell them to get at them and try to hit them early and on the break which we didn't do. We either hit it too long or hit it into space where nobody was or was prepared to run into. At least you've hit the nail on the head with your last sentence. I can't stand direct football like yesterdays. I'm not a Barcelona tika taka lover or anything i just like decent football and there's nothing wrong with a long pass, just not over the top balls all the time. Rafa is better than that, and to be fair so are the players. You're quite right the plan was poorly executed yesterday, but i thought the plan itself was horrendous. And we've played good stuff this season, it just seems since the turn of the year we've had a real downturn in performances (results have held up ok to be fair except for yesterdays obviously). Just imo at the moment we're too direct and idea less in our attacking play at home, and are giving up too much possession in general. We're top of the league so it can't be that bad and Rafa is the man to take us forward, just for me i can see things that concern me in our play. Was awful watching us punt 60 yard high balls up to Gayle for an hour. Such a pointless tactic and dreadful to watch. Aye it is, it's not something i'll ever enjoy and am totally against. I did the line for my sons team before i reffed today, his team have only one tactic, hoof it long over the top to two speedster big lads. It works half the time but is awful all of the time, and when they play a team that get it down they get murdered. I spend my time moaning and grumbling to myself about it, it makes me grumpy like

Our tactics weren't inept yesterday, the performance of most of the players was inept and tactics are not to blame for that. Hoying it forward was a tactic unless you think Rafa didn't want us to do it and the players ignored him, it was an inept display from the manager to virtually every player bar Murphy. The players take as much blame, if the instructions are to go direct there's no excuse for over hitting balls like yesterday.

That was like dangling your giblets in a crocs mouth and wondering why you're now called Susan

Very true. At Huddersfield i thought Rafa got it tactically superb, the perfect way to play a team who have the ball a lot and we hit them on the break brilliantly. And yesterday it was tactically inept, as bad as anything Pardew or Island Heed served up, not sure why it can't be called as you see it without it being bed wetting or over reacting. We all know how great Rafa is, he got it wrong (along with the players) like he has a few times at home. It doesn't mean we are doubting him long term, he is our best hope going forward without a doubt.

Teams are encouraged to have a go at us now with our relatively poor home form (for a team that are top). Aye i get that but it doesn't really explain letting teams have the ball and playing it about at will, and that's what we're doing letting them have it. And when we do get it, us just hoying forward. Rafa is better than that, and despite our squad being average they're better than that too. Fulham were better than us in every area of the pitch. Obviously but handing them the ball on a plate by not putting them under pressure, and just hoofing it back to them when we had it didn't do us any favours. To be honest i wasn't really talking about this game, more our general approach to home games lately.

When we beat Brighton at home we didn't exactly over attack, we won easily by simply being the better team and controlling the game and possesion, we certainly didn't surrender possession like we do at the moment. Not sure what's wrong at home, it's baffling why we set up so negative now.

Hope he gets the players in on Monday, fuck their day off.

Rafa. did you hear the rumor Wenger will take over if we make it No.
-
No, i love him but i also think when he fecks up he should get stick. Might be all the Pardew hatred oozing out of me now though. Damaged for life by this club i reckon.
-
Didn't think that was possible. Missed one for Bolton as well i think.

1. Yes. 2. Its the end of the world. 3. It'll be alright. 4. You're a arsehole saying Rafa got it wrong he's won the champions league you know and you couldn't win a raffle, no i'm not you're an arsehole blah blah (later tonight) 5. Meh.

Agreed on both points. Not a chance in hell.
