  1. Drawing at Arsenal and a clearly injured Danny Simpson going up to take an attacking throw in, Arsenal break on the side he couldn't run back to. Thick as mince stuff.
  2. True, but it depends on the ref watching on VAR, the inconsistency is infuriating to be fair.
  3. Pathetic that, with VAR you're not getting away with some that blatant.
  4. Maldini ! I don't know about the ladies but I'd be wetter than an otters jockstrap.
  5. Gameweek 31 Newcastle 2-1 Everton Forest 1-1 Fulham Bournemouth 1 -1 Palace Burnley 2 -1 Wolves West Ham 1-2 Spurs Arsenal 3-0 Luton Brentford 1-1 Brighton Man City 2-0 Villa Liverpool 3-0 Sheff United Chelsea 1-1 Man United Cheers SUPERTOON
  6. I'm still backing Eddie. He's still learning and he does need to develop tactically, but how else does a manager who's never competed at the top end of the league, or against European clubs do that. He does it by playing as we have, in European competitions and being competitive in the top half of the Premier League. He gains experience and hopefully that transmits to the team and what we do next season. He'll evaluate how things went and i've no doubt adjust for 24/25. Now i get those adjustments can be doubted at the moment, but he deserves the chance to show us he has developed his managerial skill set. And with improvements in the squad, because as much as we love a lot of them, a fair few are players who need to be upgraded. And with the big scummy 6 and their unfair stranglehold on anyone getting near them and sustaining it, it's not a short road. And if he doesn't do the above ? Then he'll regrettably get replaced.
  7. Must be one of the jammiest season you'll ever see this, they shouldn't have 30 points let alone 50 ffs.

    Lewis Hall

Brilliant, no idea why he's not been in, but by god he can do more than that to win a starting place.
  9. I love football, i love Newcastle United, but fuck me my heart doesn't love football at times
  10. That's just utterly pathetic defending that like, wtf even was that.
  11. Definitely a free kick to them, but you can't just let them play with a player down holding his face, especially if the play has stopped without checking on the player. It's plain old poor refereeing, from yet another utterly dogshit ref. I'm not sure there's a league with worse refs, ours are mind bogglingly terrible.
  12. Gameweek 30 Newcastle 2 -1 West Ham Bournemouth 1-1 Everton Chelsea 3-1 Burnley Forest 1-1 Palace Sheff United 1-2 Fulham Spurs 3-2 Luton Villa 2-1 Wolves Brentford 2-2 Man United Liverpool 3-0 Brighton Man City 1-2 Arsenal
  13. If our club fell in a bucket of tits, we still come up sucking our own thumb.
  14. Moyes kicking off, it's a clear handball you blind old git
  15. Gameweek 29 Burnley 2 v 1 Brentford Luton 2 v 1 Forest Fulham 2 v 1 Spurs West Ham 1 v 1 Villa
  16. No, but teams have figured out dropping players in the spaces in between our midfield and defence this season. Now that doesn't mean you need a DM every game, but in certain games you will, and on top of that the opposition has to figure out what way we'll play. We're a bit too obvious at the moment, there are too many gaps for teams to exploit.
  17. What was Anderson doing, just wait and load the box, not play it short backwards with one of our players off the pitch ffs.
  18. Longstaff then, is he playing in slow motion, christ he's become useless.
  19. Loved that from Anderson, gave the ball away in their area, chased back to win it in ours, tbf the players haven't given up, but we lack any quality.
  20. Longstaff offers nowt forward, nowt in defence and can't tackle in midfield. He's become a waste of a shirt, just nowhere near good enough if we want to progress.
  21. That's appalling defensive play, what on earth has happened to us this season. Just atrocious stuff.
