It's incompetence imo, when VAR was introduced and over last decade plus the the head of the refs was Mike Riley, one of the worst refs i've ever seen. Why that useless idiot was put in charge is mad, and the fact he was shows you just how bad our refs association the PGMOL actually is.

This is doing my head in. VAR isn't a thing that decides anything. VAR is just a replay of any given incident ffs. We shouldn't refer to it as VAR, we should refer to the name of which idiot ref is sitting watching the replay. Joeyt said it earlier, and i've said it multiple times, the same shit ref on the pitch, is then judging the replays of another game the next day. VAR as in the replay system is perfectly fine, until we sort out the scandalous standard of officiating nothing will change.

That's the bullshit part, Pope wasn't down for 3 minutes, and there was no other time wasting or interruption's. 3 minutes extra was just bollocks.

He went down with cramp, you don't have to stop the game for that.

Pope was down in the 5 minutes getting treatment, which meant more time had to be added on. The fact Pope was down for 90 seconds and the ref added on 180 will just be overlooked.

I'm quite surprised at how few headers he wins from forward/long passes, he actually held the ball up OK today from passes down the channel or into him, that was his only highlight mind. But overall he's just a very disappointing player.

What i noticed a lot today, he was the last man back on set penises, every time it was cleared, high, low, spinning or whatever it just didn't matter, his first touch and decision making was flawless in those situations. A couple of error as well mind in general play, but this lad is pure class like.
