Couldn't agree more with this.

They both look constantly off the pace. Perez was awful last season and has started this season in the same form. Aarons had a ok pre season against poor opposition to go with good cameo appearances against Palace and Tottenham as well as a good 45mins against City in the last 2 seasons but has offered nothing in his other showings. Both really need to step it up.

Mbemba, Hayden, Ritchie and Gayle should be the ones rested IMO.

All well and good loaning out the 'deadwood' as people call them but there's no sign of us even being close to signing reinforcements. Im not a fan of him but Gouffran is one of few who can play out wide and has looked solid in his 2 appearances. Would be silly to get rid now.

One's at my place are the complete opposite and keep using the "well at least we're in the premier league" as some sort of protection against any slight negative remark that I and others make about the mess that they're in.

I think Perez is getting close to last chance saloon with Rafa. I don't know if he's got his eye on a move somewhere else, but his weak performances at this level are a concern. He was absolute dogshit all of last season too but people use the fact that we had McClaren as manager for the majority of the season as some sort of excuse for him.

If we didn't have Rafa then i'd say it smacks of a desperate attempt to try and make a bigger profit on him if we're to give him a new deal, rather than accept peanuts for him now. The fact that we have Rafa leaves me stumped.
