  1. Not sure how reliable this account is and what spanish sources they've found that states it but anything that makes it seem closer to happening is a good thing in my world. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160310/6f9410e99eaecd00eea1edad8ad4311c.jpg
  2. Should we really be talking about the mackem slayer like that[emoji102] Yes Don't think you grasped the sarcasm. Best thing Shola's done for us is prove once and foreall just how enjoyable it is to ride a bike whilst eating a apple and smiling at the same time.
  3. Cheered me right up on a shite day that did.
  4. This club man. Absolute disgrace.
  5. That wouldn't suprise me. Be typical NUFC to keep him as manager.

  7. Gray looks a very good striker, be interesting to see how he does if they do come up.
  8. This is all starting to remind me of the Vieira link in the summer before it was shot down days later. I expect a statement backing Steve at dinner time on Thursday.
  9. The fact that the club felt the need to draw up its own statement giving McClaren some backing and then claiming it was from the players, without their knowledge and who then turned in that performancr, tells you everything about how far apart the players are from pulling in the same direction as the manager. We could quite easily be relegated with 2 or 3 games to go if he stays.
  10. Wolfsburg Cardiff Burnley Ipswich Aberdeen £5 on returns just over £175
  11. Ashleys an intelligent man and it doesn't take a whole lot to figure out that we have no chance of staying up with McClaren. Perhaps he should take it by the balls himself and cut out the middle men for once. He's going to lose an awful lot of money if he doesn't.

  13. 1st choice - Rafa 2nd - Moyes The rest don't fill me with any confidence when it comes to keeping us up.
  14. Decent manager takes us from 100% certain to 50/50 I reckon, still has the same s**** to work with and not much time. Sunderland Norwich Swansea Palace Villa There's 5 games straight away that a decent manager could get us victories in and quite possibly keep us up in doing so. It's nowhere near impossible for us to stay up when you look at our remaining games but I think it is if you leave McClaren in charge. I know what you're saying, but a new manager would still be inheriting a team with glaring weaknesses and a squad whose spirit is completely broken. I agree but you usually find there's a bounce when a new manager comes in and players tend to respond to them as its a fresh start and a chance to impress. Obviously there's no guarantees with our squad as you never know what we're going to get but i'd certainly be more confident if McClaren wasn't here and we did bring in a Moyes/Rodgers/Rafa.
  15. All about the £££. Managers dont walk away these days when theres a pay off to be had. Does anyone I wouldn't Nor would i if i was him. After the way he's performed here and his past couple of jobs, I don't think clubs will be queing up for him.

  18. Howe has worked wonders at Bournemouth which makes it all the more surprising that he didn't do it at Burnley.
  19. Be sending JFK to do his talking for him. Has contacts all over the world that bloke.
  20. It's sensible to have someone already lined up before sacking. No need to be in a hurry now and then panic for the next 2-3 weeks to appoint someone. They should of got rid of him during the 18 day break and that would of been sufficient time to at least appoint someone and give them a week or so getting to know the team, etc before Bournemouth. Even after saturday, I would hope that they've already sounded out the likes of Moyes, Rodgers, etc to see who, if any, were interested in the job if they are planning on sacking him.
  21. Absolutely no chance he's getting sacked now then.
  22. Any minute now before they release the 'we have full confidence in Steve to turn things around and keep us up' statement.
