Win on Thursday and its ours. We'll beat these, they're absolutely chronic.

This is torture.

Wolves aye, but the Bournemouth one is 50/50 imo, I've just watched it again and if the on field ref gives that it doesn't get overturned. But should go both ways, VAR shouldn't overturn it either. But we've had from the top of my head more game changing or potentially result changing decisions go against us this season than not. Wolves (a) Penalty on Longstaff for a shirt pull, 1st half. Liverpool (a) Isak 'offside'. Palace (h) Mitchell fouling Willock and scoring an OG and getting away with it. Man Utd (a) Penalty on Wilson, 1st half. Arguably balanced out by them not getting a pen on Sancho in 2nd half. Just as well we beat Forest and Brentford away as they'd both be on here too.

The Palace game annoys me far more than the Anfield one. An official who was later in the season sacked for incompetence chalked a perfectly good goal off us that would've put us 1-0 up after looking at loads of replays from alternate angles. Had we gone 1-0 up no doubt in my mind we close that out and win. Completely robbed of 2 points.

Would do unspeakable things for a win for Leicester City Football Club in 20 or so hours time.

We won 1 of the last 7 league games in 2003-04 and that performance against Marseille in the 2nd leg of the UEFA Cup semi was absolutely tragic. According to me fatha anyway, who was in the away end for that. We were a different club altogether then.

They hit the post in the first minute, like.

Crowd have got to be up for this. No periods of long silence, no moaning and groaning, make the ground an absolute cauldron.

State of Madley, man. Awful ref. Him and his brother are to refereeing what the Wests are to childminding.

Unfortunately. https://www.uefa.com/returntoplay/news/0275-151c779310c3-b92bbf0d24f9-1000--uefa-approves-final-format-and-access-list-for-its-club-comp/

Gagging for us to qualify for the last normal, good format of the CL ahead of this utter shite.

It's the only PL away game this side of the World Cup where we rather than the opposition created clear chances from the off that I can remember. Forest barely threatened in the game, their goal we created for them. If the Anderson goal stood also, which it should've done, we win that game by a bigger margin than 1-2.
-
Willock missed a glorious chance when Murphy drilled a cross across the face of goal and we hit the bar before they went a goal up which was a Botman individual error. We were the better side in that game by some margin and don't think we started slowly at all.

Forest?

I didn't want us to buy him for the fee that we did as I've never rated him. Still don't really. Not singling him out for yesterday in the slightest though. Also loath to judge him fully in a NUFC shirt until he's had a full pre season with us under his belt. Got age on his side and with Europe next season he'll play a big part in the squad.

Fell to bits.

That's class.

Calvert-Lewin has been great.

May be the drink talking but Almiron was crap and has been crap for while. Sounds daft when he was 11 goals to his name but he's so predictable it's untrue. Ball gets played to him on the right, foot on top of it, left, right, left, ball played backwards to Trippier or the nearest midfielder. It drives me mad, completely nullifies our right as an attacking threat.

Last one before heading out. Posted in the match thread; To finish in the top 4 we have to win 2 out of 3 games of football. 2 of those games of football are night time home matches. The other 1, although we'd prefer not needing a result due to the pressure, is away at a Frank Lampard managed side who are currently losing at home to the worst away team in the league. That is also assuming another team wins all of their remaining games. Make SJP a fucking cauldron next 2 games.
-
6 points from 9 needed. Two of those at home. HTL.
-
If Wilson and Isak start together Isak has to be central. Gonna head out for a few pints so can avoid this thread of shite take central.
-
Poor result v a poor side. Too many individuals below par. Disappointing. But it's still in our hands. 2 back to back home games, win both we're in the CL mathematically. Howay, get behind the lads.
