You don't look for a Director of whatever the fuck when the team is suffering as much as it is because of the manager. You bin the manager, put a caretaker in charge if needs be before you find your replacement. To me there is need to panic, we could be looking at 13 games without a win with our fixtures. That can change by getting rid of Bruce but it needs to be done and done now.
-
Diame and Lascelles, when Lascelles was actually a good captain. Benefitted Diame and the team too.
-
You ITK? Assume you can say nowt about your source?
-
Mental from the owners not to get rid asap. Some of this is on them and it'll only fester. Get rid of this useless, toxic, parasitic cunt. Now.
-
I'm keen to help as well. Give me the job if Bruce goes.
-
Still not able to play or come down but I'm going to the match, may see some of yous in town after for a pint if you're about.
-
I genuinely don't mind what they said tbh. The 'deserves better' patter, meh, water off a duck's arse. The owners missed a gaping open goal but not jettisoning Bruce and they are continuing to miss it now. Put Jones in caretaker charge until we can get someone in, it's utterly hindering the club.

I took that was more or less a massively passive way of saying he should be sacked. He should however have gone into more detail; he mentioned 3 of our back 4 yesterday were playing for us in the Championship in 2016/17, who's picking them though when Schar is on the bench? Also we were a solid defensive unit under the predecessing manager with the same centre backs, that doesn't get mentioned. But aye, don't mind what Carragher said at all personally, the owners deserve criticism for not getting shot of this cunt.
-
Thought Carragher was fairly right tbh. Not arsed about the 'deserving a pay off' craic. But he was, the Bruce situation is a borderline shambles.
-
To me there's no excuses for not getting rid of this cunt, whether when they took over, in run up to Spurs, or now. He's a footballing parasite who, in spite of the takeover, saps enthusiasm, ability and club standing the longer he's present. 'We have to be patient, the owners will take time to make the right decision', fuck off man. The right decision is launching this bell end into the Tyne as soon as possible. Why should that take patience to come to that conclusion? #wait until we lose to Palace, Chelsea and maybe Brighton, then when we're 8+ points adrift we'll get rid. I'd rather Jones takes charge of Palace than lard arse, gives 2 weeks up to Chelsea to bring Favre, Fonseca or whoever the fuck in. Because the longer Bruce stays at this club are chances of staying up are nil, and the more confidence is sapped. Fucking get rid, now.
-
Aye, not surprised. Saw a picture on Twitter last night of someone in the Leazes doing a Nazi salute towards L7. Depressing. Hope he gets the punishment he deserves.
-
I vaguely remember that, was in 2017-18 when we went on that 1 point from 27 run from November-December. We sit back in numbers now but remain a shambles. The brilliance of ASM and quality of Wilson has got us most of the goals we've scored this season, that'll change with a change of manager. I stand by that we have decent players and okay squad at PL level, but when you've got players in the wrong positions, plodders playing instead of our best options, constant days off training and no semblance of any real identity you're going to struggle. And that stems from the manager. I don't care if the new owners have just come in and think they have 'time on their side' or whatever, each day Bruce stays he kills this club a little more, making the damage ever more irreparable for a replacement. Get rid now and whether it's Fonseca that comes in or whoever, we have a good chance of getting ourselves out of this mess.
-
FWIW we've scored more goals so far than Norwich, Burnley, Leeds, Southampton, Watford, Palace, Arsenal, Wolves, Spurs and Brighton. And scored the same amount as Brentford. I honestly think just the semblence of a plan, coaching and no days off would significantly improve us and Fonseca would bring that at the least. Attackers aren't our issue imo, it's Bruce and the defence. Because of Bruce we take a 1 goal lead and sit off, it's criminal with our defensive record.
-
So was Bruce, mind. But yeah I'll have a read. That Tifo video I posted the other day is a good watch too. Might throw a tenner on him, if it doesn't come in your brother owes me a couple pints @ManDoon

I know he's more of an attacking coach, and our defence is a fucking mess. But our 'attacking' is equally as pathetic, Fonseca would surely bring in a plan other than pass the ball to Saint-Maximin, inshallah.
-
Yeah, first team to beat them in 17-18 when they got 100 points.

Would take Fonseca. Don't like the scoreline in the title of the video above, mind.
-
Getting a tad worried he hasn't been fired into the sun yet. Each day he's still here it increases our chances of going down. Just get rid of the cunt, ffs.
-
He's played well for us in spells tbf, first half of the Championship season, latter half of 17/18. But that's it. He's not done well since then, in spite of scoring 6 goals in 19/20. Should've gone 2 years ago. The way he got those yellow cards is unforgivable, just like Hendrick v Southampton at home last season.
-
Breathing in some more hopium personally, but Conte is the only one from those mentioned I can see coming if it was sold to him, or if he actually fancied it. Conte took a Juventus side that finished 7th the season before to the title, and has been in relegation battles before at Bari and has led Siena to promotion. I just want us to approach him, if he says no then fair enough. But getting him in will give me as much of a buzz as the takeover going through did.
-
He's regressed not just as a player for us, but as a captain also imo. Doesn't seem anywhere as front and centre or much of a leader as he was under Benitez.
