  1. I'm able to play, Poland trip is the weekend after. Personally really should remember this stuff.
  2. Usually at Powerleague/Pitz at Dunston. Cheers. Will check tomorrow if I'm away that weekend or not.
  3. I might play, but it depends as I'm unsure if I'm in Poland that weekend or the weekend before. Will have to double check though. Where's it at?
  4. They're trying to rile people to ring in as they can't get people to ring in any other way. It's their modus operandi.
  5. Rafa's or Mitro's? Either way could you sum up please? I'm paraphrasing, but "Rafa wanted me to press from the front, that's not my game, I get tired doing that, my game is crosses in the box, I tried adapting but I couldn't do it." Wish people would move on. He was never going to play under Rafa and asking Rafa to adapt his ways and tactics which have given him so much success down the years to accommodate him is daft. If Rafa was backed it would be more black and white than simply Mitro being sold and proving a world beater whilst Rafa prefers Joselu/Rondon.
  6. Agreed. Would have him back in some sort of ambassadorial role but not in a football one. Doesn't mean I don't love the bloke, just think the ship sailed a while ago.
  7. Also beating Chelsea 4-2 in 1994. Just watching the YouTube highlights that are linked, Jesus, no way we'll ever get a pen that soft ever again.

Only brought in Anita, really. Amalfitano and Bigirimana don't count. Pardew then tried to convince us all that being in Europe was a bad thing. Wanker.

I stand corrected regarding that, then. Still stand by my first paragraph.

The Cabaye saga is a weird one for me. 100% he was sold the club as a stepping stone, he was almost definitely wanting to leave to win things. But there's a way to go about it. When he 'refused to play' whether that was club lies to put fans against him or not; when he wasn't playing games and the club were saying he didn't want to play games, he had a Twitter account, media sources, interviews, all he had to do was open his mouth and deny those rumours, and he didn't. Which probably tips it toward being true. Mahrez is a good example for a player that wants to leave, was still putting in good performances for Leicester and at no point have rumours swirling around him that he was refusing to play for the club. But y'kna. In the past now. Sell/die Ashley, pls.
  11. Love that shirt. Bought it and wearing it now funnily enough.
  12. Aye but league 1 or premier league. Love how it’s jumped to £450m all of a sudden too It hasn't. But probably will if someone called the FCB's bluff and offered £400m.
  13. What if you had the self-insight to know you'd probably never break into the English side, but that you could break into the Welsh side? Surely you'd at least consider it. Despite having ties to Wales and a clear Welsh influence on my life, I just don't feel Welsh. I've lived here in the north east of England all my life and speak with a clear Geordie accent. It'd be weird, especially if playing against England.
  14. I have a Welsh grandad, and Welsh influence is clear to see with my name. So I feel a tie to the country. Wouldn't represent them over England if I was a footballer though. But what the player thinks his chances of getting into the respective national sides are would also play into the decision.
  15. Aye. Was the only player performing at the start of that 2014-15 season looking back, particularly the Palace home game. Remember Aarons himself RT'd a tweet from a fan saying that, something along the lines of 'shame Pardew played you through injuries to save his job'. He might not have been amazing but players with pace are good assets to have and his then manager certainly didn't help things, the horrid cunt.

    Rafa Benítez

I'm not going to lose sleep over this obvious tool, but the majority of teams in the league when Pardew was in charge had no where near the comparable spending power that they do in today's market either... what a bell-end Was more the "Pardew did better under same constraints" part. Hardly constraints when the bloke was complicit in them and sucked off fat Mike in post match interviews after wins.
