Hope we have a good pricing structure, something like £10 adults and £5/£3 concessions and get a decent crowd. 36,000+. Something like the Preston cup crowd last year would be fantastic.

Reckon we'll be on TV?
-
Took us to a replay and beat us last time they had us apparently. Still happy.
-
If we get Hereford The bloke and that game will be talked about for ages.
-
R3 6th January R4 27th January R5 17th February R6 17th March All subject to TV, as per.
-
Why? It's 6 matches which up to round 6 the PL fixture list is accommodated for, so it's still one game every weekend practically. As long as you don't get taken to a replay.
-
Neil Swarbrick's the ref. Was ref when we stuffed West Ham. Hopefully it's a good omen. Martin Atkinson is ref for our match vs Everton.
-
And he likes us as well.

People who say "I hope we lose so we can concentrate on the league" or something similar in regards to cup competitions.

Ha ha get in Silva! Silva said: 'When he made this comparison it does not make sense. It is the same thing if I compare his work with a national team coach like Gareth Southgate. 'It's like me comparing the goals Richarlison scores in the Premier League to Peter Crouch. Crouch is 37, Richarlison is 20, Crouch has played so many games and Richarlison far less. 'If you want easy work for you, go to see what he was doing when he was 40 years old or see his first seven seasons as a coach what he was doing. Then look at what I am doing. Or you can wait until I am 63 years old and we can compare what I have done. That is the best solution.' What a man. Liking him more and more.

8 away ties out of 10.

No. You'd probably have players trying to kick the ball off of opposition players' arms in the box.

Aye, I think we'll sit deep and try and let them dictate play for this. Mahrez and Vardy are massive worries, especially how much they pummelled us a couple of years back. The 0-3 under McClaren? Completely forgot that happened, what an utter fucking disgusting genocide of a performance that was. This time we'll approach it the same way we approached Stoke I reckon. If Lascelles is back I'm confident we'll at least avoid defeat.

A shite team at home please. Can't remember many home 3rd Round ties in the past few years. The Cardiff defeat is the only one that springs to mind.

I think the Souness prem side was as bad if not worse. Burnley are a unit, they play for each other. I think with some of the lads here now and the way they get isolated by Rafa it cant help unity. You would have to be very thick skinned and ultra diciplined to be managed like this. Mourinho is similar with his players. If you cant handle it get out. It must frustrate the life out of some lads though that sit on the bench for 3 months for 1 bad game, while another player has numerous bad games and still gets picked, I think that would be the signal its personal then? No way. We had Shay Given, Nobby Solano, Bellamy, Robert, Shearer, Owen, Luque, Emre, Parker etc. That was a poor team in terms of performances, but it was mismanaged and badly so. Basically it’s failure was down to Souness. Every one of the players if fit and on form would walk into our team. If you could compare this squad to any it would be Hughton’s promotion side, but it contained a few players that stood out and had a very good spine to it which we lack at the moment. The then Harper, Colo, Enrique, Tiote, Jonas, Ben Arfa, Nolan, Carroll and even Routledge and Shola would get into this side. Even some of the back up players would be better. Sadly Pardew was given the best NUFC squad of players to work with under Ashley and he failed miserably. The then likes of Ba, Remy, Santon, Cabaye et al would transform our side today. Think he meant the team from 06/07. Just look at our team that beat Spurs 2-3 at White Hart Lane: a back 4 of Ramage, Taylor, Huntington, Pattison. Sibierski up front. Sibierski... scraping the barrel I know, but I’d have him up front over Perez or Joselu. f*** I’d have Shola ahead of them two. I'd have Gayle and Mitro ahead of them 4.

Should do. Leicester (h), Everton (h), West Ham (a), Brighton (h) should be fixtures where we get at least 6 points. Aye just glanced myself. Need six points minimum I'd say, obviously nobody has a clue who we'll sign in January but regardless you want to be around halfway there going into that. Shame we're in this situation yet again, and needlessly yet again, but we all knew it'd be an up and down season when it became apparent this was the squad we'd be using.
-
He had two better options sitting on the bench though. Its not like he was forced into doing it He obviously thought that Shelvey, against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, would not provide the defensive work rate required in the centre of the park to stop us getting overrun. Hayden played 80 minutes on Tuesday and probably decided to rest him, and you can't drop Merino as we'd have no quality in the the middle if we did. The first 20 of Diame's game were promising yet he disappeared again, but I can see why he started him. But the fact that those are his options at CM is a disgrace. None are really good enough Merino aside.

He was alright for the first 20 minutes, then reverted to what seems type. Him starting for us at Chelsea away is kind of telling of just how much Rafa was fucked over in the summer.
-
I'd keep him in for Leicester.

As optimistic as ever, SUPERTOON.
