Good. Absolute state of the Brighton fans defending it.

What a fucking finish from Bale. (Having to watch in SD again )
-
Fingers crossed it's something to do with a takeover. Not holding my breath though.

Here is the Times article. Would've fully believed it if it was Caulkin, but he's currently on holiday: https://twitter.com/CaulkinTheTimes/status/912602980691709952 Here's the article: https://www.thetimes.co.uk/edition/sport/newcastle-want-new-deal-for-rafa-benitez-hg9vglqds

Keith Bishop PR masterclass, then.

Don't think "shoved" is the right word tbh. He hasn't played many minutes and he's getting some under his belt tonight. Would like to see him involved on Sunday in some capacity tbh, likes a goal vs Liverpool.

They were the pits as well, we were actually somehow even worse than the scorelines suggest. We do pick up the odd good result in this fixture though. Seem to remember that Given was actually MOTM for that 1-5 match as well... then he put a transfer request in afterwards. I was at that game and he was furious, proper Peter Kay hoofed it after one of the goals iirc. Could honestly have been 12 or 13-1, lots of clear chances squandered by them. Think he got booked for that n all, IIRC. My dad seems to remember the 0-3 under Allardyce more clearly than the 1-5. Guess they were similar sorts of performances, mind. Can't remember much of them myself, but do remember in the 0-3 where the camera cut to a side shot of Allardyce with fans beside the dugout giving him dogs abuse.

Don't even know what I'm looking at here, apart from a load of moaning pricks - who the f*** is Westy? This is Westy. Kill it with fire before it breeds.
-
Did Rafa really want this lad? Seems odd that we spent £12m on him but hardly ever play him.

They were the pits as well, we were actually somehow even worse than the scorelines suggest. We do pick up the odd good result in this fixture though. The 0-6 was genuinely one of the worst footballing performances I've seen at any level. So, so bad. That attempt at an offside trap, man. And aye, think we can nick a point. We tend to do alright against them at SJP, it's at Anfield where we struggle. Anyhow, Rafa will sort it. Heard the GF have a massive display planned, be looking forward to that. My dad is planning on ringing in sick to work so he can go to this, hopefully he isn't hoping he was at work at 6:15pm on Sunday.

Liverpool's last 2 wins here? 0-6 and 1-5.

Aye just posted in the officiating thread, gets to a point where I'm passed laughing it off and it starts to get vehemently irritating.

I hate it when both other fans and myself have to get all conspiracy theorist, but the coverage of us this season has been a fucking joke. Seems that they [sky, other media] genuinely want us to fail and perpetuate the utter bullshit stereotypes about us. Gets to a point where it really starts fucking bothering me.

That's how hair grows mate. Made me chuckle.

Mane returns for this. Naturally.

The coach with the glasses beside him

Fuck it, score draw. Probably 2-2, there's always goals when we play this lot. Anyone know the last time us and them played out a 0-0?
-
Can always relax when he has the ball. So calm and collected and almost always makes the correct decision. What a player.
-
He's so frustrating, like. For 10-15 minutes he'll give the ball away, make the wrong decision et al, but then for the next 5 minutes he'll do everything right. Just what the fuck. We needed a #10 in the window, was blatant. Fanks, Mike.
-
Definitely needs a goal soon or his confidence will be completely shot. Thought he was fantastic v West Ham topped off with a goal, he was unlucky not to score vs Swansea, his overall play decent, got himself in the right place v Stoke, maybe trying too hard? Who knows. Today, he was off the boil imo.

Totally forgot about them. Which renders the post above canny redundant Edit: f*** you. Not for in the PL, your point still stands.
