Genuinely don’t think this is incompetence mate. This is premeditated and deliberate over and above anything we’ve seen before. It’s like Dave said last night, it’s Ashley banking on the squad being just good enough, spending nothing, seeing the tv deal promise more money and asking for even more from PCP in the summer on the strength of no cash being spent. It’s f***ing hideous, nefarious and exactly in keeping with the c***’s persona. This is all down to him. Yep it's 100% Ashley. Going into the Championship season the club showed it had no issues signing players. I understand the Charnley blame to a degree but he's not the root cause. He's a shit deflector. Just like Kinnear was in 13/14, whom the morons will blame for lack of signings. It's all Ashley. Always has been. Bloke needs to fucking die.

Why, man? How do we benefit from that?! Keep seeing this. People are doing so (I think) because they sort of want the tiny thread connecting them to the club in Rafa severed. He's the only thing left worth something, only thing that's making people want the club to win. If we sink again to the Championship we will lose Rafa and almost certainly any smidgen of hope of a take over imo.

Jim White can fuck off. Yellow tie nonce.

Everyone was still sucking Swansea off for their summer window when we beat them. Stoke had just had good results against Arsenal and Man Utd when we beat them at SJP. I get your point though.

As if we ever intended to go in for him anyway.

Nah. It's bollocks.

2 unverified Spanish journalists, one of which with <1000 followers. Going to take it with a pinch of salt but wouldn't be surprised.

Arsenal have won the same amount of away games as us this season.

I replied to the guy you were arguing with. He's deleted his tweets now. Presumably so he can attempt to talk s**** about Newcastle again under the assumption that he's a Newcastle fan. So weird. Boro fan pretending to be an Ashley loving Newcastle fan, just what the fuck I had a look on his TL, seemed like a right freak.

Happened Last season. Teams that played midweek games on a Tuesday played on January 31st last year. We play midweek games on Wednesdays so played on February 1st, when Rafa was furious after the QPR home match. Midweek games close to deadline day in January or February usually happen, I wouldn't say playing on deadline day was a regular occurrence.

All of the journalists said that a deal had to be agreed in principle for that to happen.

Went down with Rafa. Maximises the chances of a takeover and keeps the only thing worth something at the club in Rafa Benitez. Regardless, I don't think Rafa will stay if we go down. We have to stay up this season and see what plays out on the takeover front. Some may think it's not going to happen and they've got every reason to believe it won't, but it's the only thing we can have hope for with regards to the club's long term future. I think Rafa will stay for at least the rest of the season despite this disgusting farce and horrible amount of disrespect the wankers in charge of the club have given and shown him.

yep like suck the last drop of cash from the clubs coffers and sell when the window closes. Once again though, the £250m valuation previously offered would be based on the fact he didn't bleed the club dry of cash I'd imagine. If he reaps £100m out this summer they're not still going to offer him the same price like. Not really, it's quite complicated but even if the fat c*** milk 100m out this year, the valuation of our club would not go down by that much. Won't be exact but they'll not offer the same money, not a f***ing chance man. I know, but in fact the same can be said on the opposite side. For example, the fat c*** spend 20m on Jorgensen. The valuation of Jorgensen from the buyers view may not be 20m and thus create further differences. I genuinely not surprised we spend nth this money as long as the fat c*** is really willing to sell. jorgensen would be an asset on the books and his value would be in the books determined by amortisation so it's totally different No, you got it wrong. The valuation of the club in a takeover in fact reference very little to the current accounting books. Most of the time, it only relates to: 1. Fixed assets like infranstructures 2. Reputation 3. Revenue generated per year and running cost per year 4. Additional investment cost needed The fat c*** would certainly add that 20m in his asking price because that's the additional cost he incurred during the takeover event. However as you can see from the above, it only affects the last point. If Amanda didn't value him as much, then she would definitely not agree to increase the bidding price for further 20m. That's why during the process of any takeover, all kinds of transfer will be banned. Football Manager is right, then?
