  1. Anyone looking for a ticket I think some returns are on sale on the club site now.
  2. Not ruling out 1:30pm/2pm one though.
  3. The club's a PLC so I doubt it. Don't think anything will come out of this tbh but it's still absolutely mad we're even having to talk about this. Hope Ashley f***ing dies. The club isn't a Plc, there aren't any shares that are publicly traded. In the FA choose to do anything off the back of this, in theory it shouldn't be the sporting fortune of the club that is held accountable, i.e. no points deduction... unless it is proven that we've gained an unfair advantage over competitors in the transfer market and hence on the pitch. Do we think we've systematically beaten other teams to desirable signings due to this? If anything I reckon a fine might have to be paid, but no doubt Ashley will pay that out of our transfer war-chest His image will be tainted but he clearly doesn't give a f*** about that. Can't PLCs be privately held by another PLC? In Ashley's case, MASH? I'm probably wrong like.
  4. It's almost certain they'll televise the Man City game on Boxing Day like, just hoping it's no earlier than a 3pm. 5:30 please.
  5. We'll be f***ed around even more looking at the games we have in December and January. The games in italics will probably be moved/be on TV. October Soton (a) Sunday, 4pm, Sky Palace (h) Saturday, 3pm Burnley (a) Monday, 8pm, Sky November B'mouth (h) Saturday, 3pm Man Utd (a) Saturday, 5:30pm, BT Watford (h) Saturday, 3pm West Brom (a) Tuesday, 8pm December Chelsea (a) Leicester (h) Everton (h) (midweek) Arsenal (a) West Ham (a) Man City (h) Brighton (h) January Stoke (a) Swansea (h) Man City (a) Burnley (h) (midweek)
  6. Would probably take that tbh but there's no reason we can't get a win; they can't score and we can defend. Although in games for us v Southampton it's the 2nd highest fixture for average goals in PL history, thanks to the 4-0s under Pards.

  8. Class watch that. Shearer has vastly improved as a media personality and the True Geordie has improved as well, used to dislike his shtick of the stereotypical sweary Geordie and wearing hoodies with his face on but it's clear it's went away from that and improved. Good stuff.
  9. Doesn't Benitez encourage this sort of thing? Remember reading somewhere that while at Valencia he'd encourage fights in training and the changing room when players weren't pulling their weight.
  10. I'm the same tbh Love Boxing Day games. But that change is looking more likely as we play Man City at home on Boxing Day and it'll be the first time Rafa and Guardiola will have faced each other competitively so it's guaranteed to be on TV. If they change it it'll be the 27th, as we've got another home game scheduled for the 30th, against Brighton. I'm almost praying that if they just have to move our game at West Ham they move it to the Friday night. It'll still be a massive p*ss take for our away fans going down there but it'd be better than going down to London on Christmas Eve, and West Ham have had and are still set to have a few Friday night games when at the Olympic Stadium. Fingers crossed the West Ham game stays as it is on the Saturday and the Man City game gets moved to the early evening/night slot on boxing day. Last 2 Boxing Days have been home games at 5:30 and 7:45. Hopefully it'll be something similar this time, atmosphere should be class at that if it's at those times.

  12. Better option to move to Christmas Eve than our game at West Ham or Liverpool's game at Arsenal in terms of logistics, but still a fucking joke. Games should never be played on Christmas Eve.
  13. What did he ring the police about? A lad started a fund for a Tiote tribute flag and asked Gallowgate Flags to help out then mentioned Gallowgate Flags in the info on the donation page. Martin then accused the lad of fraud and rang the police and contacted Luke Edwards about it. Bloke's a fucking embarrassing mong.
  14. Would much rather do up SJP in terms of its cleanliness and facilities.
  15. Our Boxing Day game would be moved if it happened as well, which is a right shitter.
  16. No clue how many seats we'd get but we could only realistically expand the Gallowgate End to Level 7 height, which would probably take the capacity to about 61,000? The price of the expansion, plus (correct me if I'm wrong) having to buy back the lease for the land behind the Gallowgate won't be paid back for quite a while from ticket sales.
  17. A bit over the top as usual, but we should be one of the most attractive clubs in the world to buy. Not only unique in being a one club city, but we stand apart from most of the other clubs in England in both geography and passion for the game which has to be a massive factor. It would be for British buyers anyway, my only worry is whether foreign buyers would realise it. Someone like Stavely would be crucial in conveying this. You see nothing clubs like Crystal Palace and QPR getting bought up and you wonder whether the owners think just because they are in London that somehow gives them extra value? Don't think it's over the top at all, this club really can be something gargantuan. We've already had a springboard in Rafa but it needs one more catalyst; an owner with money, f***s to give and ambition. I remember Luke Edwards penned an article not so long ago saying that NUFC is the only club in the PL worth buying currently, and he's right.
  18. And I agree with chopey, Rafa looked far too happy when asked about it on Sunday.
  19. PCP seem to be that tbf. Then again like you say, it's the hope that kills. The Saudi’s are apparently wanting a football club, as in their dick measuring competition, they are coming up short with their neighbours all owning one. The finance is nothing to them, they want what the others have. It’s like competing with the lads at school over who has the best football boots, only over a much larger scale. She could potentially be scouting one for them, if she is, they will have a bottomless pit and the club they end up purchasing could go exactly the same way as Man City. Imagine if they turn to someone like West Ham because Ashley f***s it up I hope that we turn into another Man City. Like Kanji's said us as a fanbase fucking deserve it, we've had 10 years of bloody Ashley and arguably 13 years of absolute shite.
