  1. 13/15. Got the last 2 on international wrong.
  2. I know, please. Just came across a clip of a 1-1 draw with Arsenal at SJP in 2003. Prior to the game we were 5 points off Arsenal in 2nd after 25 games played, wonder if we'll ever see those heights again.
  3. Aye, surprised to read that. Always liked him when he was at Norwich. One of the posts on there is also calling for Tadic to be dropped? Odd.
  4. They seem quite level headed tbf to them. https://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?58836-Saints-vs-Newcastle-build-up-thread#.Wd6E2WiPKM8
  5. He predicted us to lose again yet?
  6. He's nailed on to be pundit for our game on Sunday.
  7. It's a good opportunity to get a good result, which imo is a point or more. No reason why we can't win; we were poor at Huddersfield and Brighton and yet still should've at least drawn the games, maybe even won the former and both were without Shelvey, who is integral to how we play. The record at Southampton is irrelevant as far as I'm aware, yes it doesn't exactly breed confidence but this is a completely new game, just like it was when Rafa finally got us a win at home to Swansea in our last season in the PL when our record vs them was s****, a point vs Man City et cetera. They've been poor but our impotent attack is a worry. A point will be a good result for me but I certainly won't be writing us off in regards to winning it.
  8. Anyone looking for a ticket I think some returns are on sale on the club site now.
  9. Not ruling out 1:30pm/2pm one though.
  10. The club's a PLC so I doubt it. Don't think anything will come out of this tbh but it's still absolutely mad we're even having to talk about this. Hope Ashley f***ing dies. The club isn't a Plc, there aren't any shares that are publicly traded. In the FA choose to do anything off the back of this, in theory it shouldn't be the sporting fortune of the club that is held accountable, i.e. no points deduction... unless it is proven that we've gained an unfair advantage over competitors in the transfer market and hence on the pitch. Do we think we've systematically beaten other teams to desirable signings due to this? If anything I reckon a fine might have to be paid, but no doubt Ashley will pay that out of our transfer war-chest His image will be tainted but he clearly doesn't give a f*** about that. Can't PLCs be privately held by another PLC? In Ashley's case, MASH? I'm probably wrong like.
  11. It's almost certain they'll televise the Man City game on Boxing Day like, just hoping it's no earlier than a 3pm. 5:30 please.
  12. We'll be f***ed around even more looking at the games we have in December and January. The games in italics will probably be moved/be on TV. October Soton (a) Sunday, 4pm, Sky Palace (h) Saturday, 3pm Burnley (a) Monday, 8pm, Sky November B'mouth (h) Saturday, 3pm Man Utd (a) Saturday, 5:30pm, BT Watford (h) Saturday, 3pm West Brom (a) Tuesday, 8pm December Chelsea (a) Leicester (h) Everton (h) (midweek) Arsenal (a) West Ham (a) Man City (h) Brighton (h) January Stoke (a) Swansea (h) Man City (a) Burnley (h) (midweek)
  13. Would probably take that tbh but there's no reason we can't get a win; they can't score and we can defend. Although in games for us v Southampton it's the 2nd highest fixture for average goals in PL history, thanks to the 4-0s under Pards.
  14. The club's a PLC so I doubt it. Don't think anything will come out of this tbh but it's still absolutely mad we're even having to talk about this. Hope Ashley fucking dies.
  15. Class watch that. Shearer has vastly improved as a media personality and the True Geordie has improved as well, used to dislike his shtick of the stereotypical sweary Geordie and wearing hoodies with his face on but it's clear it's went away from that and improved. Good stuff.
