Leicester under Rodgers may fit into that category tbh, though they didn’t get Champions League football.

‘New target’ will probably be Strand Larsen or someone equally as unattainable.
  3. The blame for this whole situation lies at a few doors but Isak is refusing to go on pre season trips with his team mates, manager etc to try and push for a move to a different PL club. That is the message in the press; if it wasn’t the case he should have the decency to deny it. It’s pure fucking rat behaviour.
  4. No idea if this is possible; but he’s away, if not this summer then in either of the next 2 windows. So we’re guaranteed a hefty fee. Could we not keep Isak this summer but still buy Wissa, Sesko, the CB we need etc and then flog Isak abroad in the next two windows if only Liverpool seem to be in interested and have the potential to afford him? Let Isak rot in the reserves for all I care in mean time. He’s burned his bridges and can get to fuck. But we absolutely cannot sell him to Liverpool or any other PL club. The message it’d send would be absolutely appalling.
  5. Despite amount of vile shit and abhorrent videos that I've seen on that app, this is comfortably the worst thing I've seen on there.
  6. An opportunity they wanted to seize? They’ve been chasing him for over a year. What the fuck, man? Absolute shambles.
  7. True but it was a sale that spoke volumes of where the club was at that time. Perez was a key part of our team and he was the last sale that was a key part, like Isak is now. I was sad to see ASM go but I understood it. This one just hurts; like I said before not turning out for preseason matches is just rat behaviour that I never expected from anyone in this squad.
  8. Don’t think he asked to leave but he’s the last first team regular that I really didn’t want to see go actually leave.
  9. Be good to have options when not wanting to be on my lonesome. Aye, please.
  10. Same. I’m almost priced out now. £72-£75 for a PL match is fucking outrageous. The prices in the Milburn are frankly abhorrent.
  11. I paid £59 for Wolves at home in seating category 1 last season.
  12. He’s defended putting ticket prices up again due to the usual bullshit. Apart from that, nowt. Agree that it baffles me how he escapes criticism from the press; he appointed Mitchell and we have heard nothing from him since whilst he’s still in post. Hasn’t found a successor 10 months after his diagnosis became public.
  13. Wouldn’t say refusing to go on preseason trips is putting us in the dark, like. It’s more than clearly black and white.
  14. Hope's source fucking hates Mitchell. If it's down to him or not it brings into question what the process was is in appointing the bloke. Along with his departure. That'll be Eales' remit, who also shouldn't still be here.
  15. Which is exactly what Owen did (in far, far more important matches admittedly). I was a bit too young to fully appreciate the way the Carroll transfer came about at the time. This though, is utterly lifting.
  16. Sorta agree. I'm annoyed at the very few at the top of the club for allowing it to get to this stage. On top of the absolute joke this summer has been thus far makes it even worse. However, him refusing to go to preseason games is fucking rat behaviour.

    ONLY WANTS THE NEWCASTLE PROJECT
  18. Not at £75 leaving my bank account for one match it won’t. That’s £10 up from Category A last season. Nigh on £100 for any general admission seat anywhere in the ground that isn’t hospitality is an absolute disgrace.
