No idea where this thing with Everton has come from, and it's from people in both fanbases as well. I'm almost convinced it's solely an online thing; I've been to Goodison twice in the last 3 seasons and never had anything but good craic with Evertonians down there, likewise when my Everton mate has come up here. I’ve been twice, this season and April 2023 when we won 1-4. They were sound enough and I walked on my own from the ground to Kirkdale Merseyrail station post game both times. Liverpool as a city is probably my second favourite UK city after town tbh. I’ve happier memories of the place.

I like Goodison, personally. Few grounds like it left now. Love the walk up to it amongst terraced houses around it, proper working class.
