Correct decision. He's past him with the ball with a clear chance to have a shot on goal.

Lovely. https://x.com/i/spaces/1mnGepXeyAEKX

True but unless they had another long range potshot that went the correct side of the post, a penalty like the one we gave away was the only way they were scoring.

My fume at Paul Dummett increases by the day. The Ev are chronic.

Don't mind that kit tbh. Similar to the 2001-03 home kit. Would prefer stripes on the back but wouldn't mind a plain back as long as 1) it's black with white numbers a la Juve's 2017-18 kit and 2) we see the end of red names and numbers. Never been a fan of them. White, black or blue numbers for me, leyk.

Whose he referring to when he's talking about someone writing 'that sort of article'? EDIT: Appearance from Wraith

Aye, I'd say so. With mentions to Isak, Schär and Bruno.

CB, given how thin we are there with Botman and Lascelles' injuries. But given that (hopefully) likely won't happen, a top quality RW is of critical priority for me as well. Nico Williams, Kubo, Gibbs-White, Whittaker amongst others. Get one of them.

And mine; played them off the park that day. Cabaye was sensational in that run up to him being sold.

Fantastic weekend of association football. Fingers crossed for a similarly great Monday with the Ev taking points off Chelsea.

Absolutely class finish. Get in

Very true. You can see why Sky were desperate to keep hold of Carragher after the spitting incident, like. Outside of when he's covering Liverpool games he's clear in the punditry world.
-
As a pundit he's naff now. His knowledge of clubs outside the usual big 6 is shocking for an apparently flagship pundit.

Gabriel. Cannot stand that utter prick. One of the most odious fuckers in the league
-
@LFEE said the exact same thing post match. I agree. Sort of. I just can't stop cursing that result. If we'd won that we'd have been 8 points behind Spurs with 3 kind fixtures coming up, especially compared to their next 3. They also have to play Man City again. Would've been a big ask going for 9 points from the next 9 and garnering 5 consecutive wins with our injury problems but it would've been a distinct possibility.
-
Arteta is a cunt, many of their players are heinous and many of their fans are odious, holier-than-thou creeps. Man City winning it 4 times in a row is shit as well. Just I find them the least offensive out of the 3 going for the league.

So in all competitions we have beaten topspur in the PL era 7-1 6-1 twice 5-1 4-0 twice 4-1 3-1 four times And we've beaten them away from home the most times out of all PL teams. Hilarious football club.
-
Back to back home defeats without scoring. Chortle. In Arsenal's hands now though, ugh.

He's an absolute clown.

From .com; "With two fixtures remaining at SJP, 11 home wins matches last season's tally from the full season. 69 goals exceeds our 2022/23 total by one and is our highest PL total since hitting 74 back in 2001/02. 43 home goals in the PL is our best top-flight return since the 1996/97 season saw 54 netted." Some feat that given the context of the season. If we can get Europa League that transcends last season's achievement for me. Some going.

Should've had a hatty yesterday; needs to trust his left foot more.

"Each of Tottenham's last 3 PL defeats by 4+ goals have come against Newcastle United at St. James' Park (5-1 in May 2016, 6-1 in April 2023 and 4-0 in April 2024). They've lost by 4+ goals against Newcastle United than they have against any other team in PL history and Newcastle have scored more goals against Spurs than they have against any other PL club."
-
I'm going to be cursing that Everton result until the end of time. With the respective fixtures we have, we'd have had a canny prospect of catching Tottenham.

Mateta is an absolute donkey.
