eh? I know that Mitrovic and Murphy are similar players in that they hold the ball up, but when we already have a centre back in Mbemba on the bench wouldn't you not prefer Murphy on the bench than Hanley? It makes no difference as neither of them are going to come on.

Ridiculous tbh, even if Perez has picked up a knock surely Murphy should be on the bench?
-
Nah He played well in his first 10 games. He was one of our best performers in the 2014-2015 season, although that wasn't particulary difficult

where were you sat?

love you gayle

Give over man! we take the piss like a rival does, the same amount as pretty much every other rival in the country The difference is uncomparable

'It's really, genuinely sad that there are people like him out there. I mean, I don't like Newcastle United; I laugh when they lose, I join in on threads on here, I wind up the mags where I work and they wind me up back but, when all's said and done, it's just a laugh. For some reason it seems to be this blokes life, trying to get one over the "mackums". I'd understand if he was about 12 but he's a grown bloke, does he not have anything better to do, a family to look after or something? Has he never grown up? The rivalry is great, but getting as obsessed as he is about us just can't be healthy. I can only assume that there are many things that are sadly, sadly lacking in his life. He seems to be living his life through his football team as if "representing" them on Twitter somehow makes his life worthwhile. Alas your football team being better or worse, "classier" or less "classy" than someone else's doesn't make you a better or worse person than them and it doesn't make you successful or a failure. When he realises this and considers what he has done with his life, on his own, I think he'll be sorely disappointed. When he shuffles off this mortal coil I doubt he'll be missed, it's almost a shame' Just seen this post on RTG, the lack of self awareness is actually scary

good post tbh, 'washington mags' are 'plastic' though apparantly
-
I love the way they just lay claim to towns, districts and counties as their own and think absolutely nothing of it. I just dont get it, even the mackems with a bit of common sense all seem to think they 'own' Durham and no mag should ever come from there Dont believe I heard any of this rubbish pre 97 mind before the "massive lads fans" were born
-
why on earth do mackems think that everyone from county durham should support sunderland? Why cant someone from from Consett support newcastle when its nearer than Sunderland? I pity them I really do, they lap this stuff so much that it becomes true
-
"Failed dueteronomy'? That's a new one, haven't heard that word before. Does he mean Deuteronomy? Well that wouldn't make sense. OK, Googling 'dueteronomy', I love learning something new every d...." "Oh. Nope, made up word. Back to your crayons mackems..." If Moyes had a good start to the season this article wouldnt exist, just another excuse to obsess over nufc instead of supporting the club they apparantly love so much 'half built St james park' have they seen the state of that shi*hole of a stadium that the scum with free tickets turn up to?!?

http://rokerreport.sbnation.com/2016/9/27/13064560/sunderland-bob-murray-and-the-failed-dueteronomy-of-north-east cant help themselves can they? nowt to do with Sunderland this really, 1 point from 18 for Moyes so lets do an article to obsess over John Hall and talk shite pathetic

'We are the Terry Waite of football. Aye we survived, but who the fuck wants to be chained to a radiator for years on end.'
-
Who else are putting RB though? Someone had to fill in there. The fact that Lazaar wasnt put on speaks volumes
-
Gayle missed a one-on-one and Diame scuffed a sitter! That's why we didn't win. Those misses were beyond ridiculous, just not good enough. We needed 3 points today
-
He plays far too relaxed, frustrating player
-
played well in his last 2 games and Hayden was poor in his last Should be starting today
-
I was going to say . We only sent Rose up there to get a few games because he wasn't ready for us. Also Bould FFS .

There was an "in the know" sunderland fan on RTG last week stating they give away, on average, 9,000 tickets for every home match and a few others backed him up on this as well. They regularly get sub 15k crowds in the cups because they aren't permitted to give away free tickets as the gate receipts are shared with the opposition club. Im not sure people actually realise just how many free tickets and ridiculous cheap offers for multiple tickets that club actually do In the past theyve even sent free tickets to schools in Newcastle. Mackem support is nothing special

Magedia again FFS man. There seems to be a deliberate agenda against us in all the press. Pundits on the tele just glance at the table in the paper and look at the last result even the supposed ex players in local media who are supposed to be on our side couldn't name the starting 11 from a game the day before. We are too soft as a club we get a raw deal from all aspects of the media because they know we are a soft touch that won't do anything. They were giving us pelters on talksport the other day as well
