8m is a piss take off in today’s money. Even average EPL strikers cost 15m these days. It’s madness. They really were trying to play Ashely at his own game.

This based on nothing more than a quick few videos I watched and a few things I read. but seems to take a lot of shots (shocking for a striker I know!) but even from distance. My fear there is that our fans get on his back too quick and get frustrated too easy when the first couple go wide and he feels under pressure. Seems to have a good bit of energy about him. Can see where the counter attack characteristic comes from. Could be really good in away games.

So he’ll be sent off on his debut or do something Mitro like within his first couple of games then. Nice.

I really do think we are fucked. Of all the squads down there in that battle we easily have one of the worst. Ashely has us fucked over again. Anyone who ever dares claim he has been a good owner for us ever again I am actually going to physically harm. I will punch them so hard that it might actually swing their brain into place (if they have one) and they’ll stop being so stupid.

who actualy thought there was any chance that stupid fat cunt was going to agree a deal any intelligent person would be happy with anyway. Maybe if we’re still a premier league club in another year or two there’s a chance he’ll get the money his greedy fat self is after. But that in itself ain’t looking likely. And when Rafa understandably has had enough next summer, the club will be in a dire state again regardless of what league we’re in. Couldn’t see anyone wanting to take us over then. If I remember correctly it is a weekly basis and only on a game to game basis for UEFA/FIFA matches. No doubt his weekly pay will be suspended until further notice. Or else he will be banned for a couple months without pay. Had the ref not sent him off and just shook the players hand and laughed it off it wouldn’t have seemed half as bad. It was the fact he brought double the attention on himself by then wrongly sending the player off that got him in a real bad spot. The kick itself didn’t even seem all that bad it’s not like he walloped his shin or anything. He has really f***ed himself. Any dream or ambition he had to be a FIFA ref, go to the World Cup, the euros, ref a major final or anything of that nature is gone.

I wouldn’t laugh too hard at Lambert’s appointment. He did keep Norwich up and Villa up for a good few years after all. And I do believe he’ll keep Stoke up. But if they have any serious ambition then this needs to be a short term appointment only.

It was good enough to bring Murphy on and have a go once we equalised like. They're bottom of the league, being so scared of our opponents is making us this bad. That is why I consider them a squad of cowards and bottlers though. Especially at home. Look at how afraid they are to go for the kill. Away to the shitter teams they are fine. Great wins recently against West Ham, Stoke, and even the Swansea away game they showed guts to win the game. But at SJP they just can’t help but bottle it. Even last season we had too many bad home performances, but got away with it sometimes because the others teams were really bad.

As long as we’re above 18th the man is working miracles. That team is fucking shite. Anyone who thinks this squad is good enough for the premier league is deluded. They are woeful man and a bunch of bottlers too who can’t handle playing in front of big crowds like SJP hence our god awful home form.

So glad I stuck with 10. They’re fucking cowards when playing at home. Bottling it consistently. It will be our undoing. We are down.

Warrior. Given the vastly improved stats when he is in the team evidence of others lifting their game when he is on the pitch, too. A true leader.

No point groaning really. If we were in any way serious of going far we’d have to face one of the ‘top 6’ eventually anyway. Win and then get city away next round. Then that is unlucky alright.

Swansea game is massive. Win and it’s looking good. Fail and it’s the complete opposite.

Two massive game coming up for them before the month’s end. One against Hull the other against Brum. Lose both them or fail to take at the very least 4 points and that’s it they are toast.

Watched the Juve VAR controversy. It is a define foul in my opinion leading up to Jeve’s goal. He takes the player out doesn’t touch the ball. That’s the problem with Video help for refs. A lot of them are arrogant and have their egos and in turn will have big trouble admitting they were wrong and changing their decision. That was the case here.

Absolutely incredible. Another shocking result and yet they’re still one win and a small handful of favorable results away from safety.

The Rafa haters will crawl back into their little cesspool now, but don’t worry, whenever there’s the slightest bit of bad form they will be back.

Over achieving by just being out of the bottom 3? Wow, Rafa has done some smooth Jedi mind tricks on so many. To think of the reaction Pardew got and deservedly so when he tried to lower our expectations. Pardew and the likes had much better squads with actual talent like Ben Arfa in the team. This squad belongs in the championship that is clear as day. So yes just being out of the drop zone is overachieving for the shit we have. We needed significant improvements in the summer, Ashely said he’d give Rafa every penny and back him, but we were all lied to again. Now we’re stuck with this dogs hit squad playing one level above what they’re capable of.

Name me one manager one the planet, who would realistically come to us, who’d do better? Plus haven’t you learned anything of Ashley and his cronies. They’d only end up hiring a Alan Pardew type character again. The best we could hope for is a nice honey moon period to collect a few points mackem style. Let’s be honest the squad is trash and just by being out of the bottom three we are overachieving. We overachieved last season too. We were this poor in more than a handful of games last season too. Rafa’s organisation, especially away from home, got us the promotion.

We need to win those Brighton and Swansea home games or my fear of relegation won’t be at any less ease.

There ain’t hope of us getting 7 or 8 more wins with the current squad. We need significant improvements in January. If we don’t sign a decent keeper that alone could be enough to see us go down.

It’s a familiar feeling as Newcastle fan but today was one of those there’s where football kicks you in the balls and can’t even give you one, even minor, thing to smile about. One of those days where you just want to tell the sport to fuck off.
