5 and to be increased to 9 if Rafa leaves at any point. 2 if he's still here in April.

Seems like Ashley has done his utmost to p*ss him off and make him resign, but he's standing his ground. Heroic stuff from the man.

Disagree with anyone who discredits a manager just because he has great players. Still takes a good manager to organise those players and manage the egos. Like if Mcclaren walked into Madrid tomorrow I'd be surprise if they finished second, they would seriously underperform despite the wealth of talent, because if the instruction coming from the top is garbage then that's a massive problem. The players would have to manage themselves and decide collectively how they are going to play if they really wanted to do well. But why do that just to see some mug take all your credit.

The three thickest sets of fans, Celtic, Rangers and Sunderland fans, all clashed today. There's no way we could have expected anything less than the embarrassment that occured.

Genuinely felt gutted when I loaded up the Skysports website to see this as the main story. Really, really cruel. But it's not the years in our life, it's the life in our years. And young Brad was full of life and got to see so many of his dreams come through. Seemed such a great kid. RIP.

Celtic and Rangers really do have the thickest set of fans. How the fuck could you not only lose, but actually get knocked out over two legs, by the 4th best team in Luxembourg. And they'll still happily take their pay checks after losing to a bunch of amautuers. Embarrassing would be putting it too lightly.

A good appointment and the best they could have hoped for.

I thought we got rid of this old cunt last year . Got a reputation for a few good signings in 2011, but let's be honest the vast majority of signings after that miracle season were absolute garbage.

Happy with their choice of manager.

His volley obviously stands out above anything else but for a good 2 or 3 years or so he was a rock for us in densive midfield and one of our best players. I'll remember him as being one of our best players for a good 2 years. Like a lot of players he struggled to hit top form consistently under Pardew's management especially after that once off season we finished 5th in 2012, but far from alone there. Rest in peace. To die at 30 is horrific and I feel for his family. I remember he was quite the family man and remember reading how he would send a lot of his fortune back home to support them. Gone way too soon, life can be very cruel indeed.

He'll be top scorer in the SPFL next year given the shitness of that league.
-
Never managed a team that's only just come down from the premier league. Performed above expectations in all his jobs so far, but would be much harder to continue doing so at Sunderland.
-
They're all a gamble saying the least, but Grayson would be the best gamble. A decent record with shitty teams.

Indeed Huddersfield have made us lose more hair this season than Reading by far. Faded away in the end and began to focus on getting ready for the play offs, but I have no doubt they deserved it more than the other three. Reading lost 7-1 to Norwich that alone should speak volumes for how much that team deserves premier league football Sickening for their new Chinese owners too who were hoping to cash in on some premier £££s

Also that tv playoff monaaaayyyy

Ffs. Some w***** decides he's bored on his Sunday and decides to spread a rumor around that an ill child cared for by many has died. This is the bad thing about everyone being able to have internet access. Scum thrives on the internet and TBH I so dang glad I gave up Facebook and twitter. My faith in our species was just about to fall off its last thread until I did so.

Probably some Arab country like Saudi Arabia or somewhere with laws heavily influenced by Islam. Seeing as their religion fundamentally disagrees and cannot support a company like Wonga a Nufc shirt with a wonga logo would not sell over there, it would be hard to get a sale in the first place I imagine since we're not that popular globally.

Very sad news but let's hope his replacement is every bit as good. All the best for the future Moyes. You can leave a hero or wait long enough to become the villan. You've chose the former. A legend is my eyes forever.

Really throughly enjoyed that Villa equaliser. The fact it was so unlikely and I'd resigned to us finishing second made it ten times better and I must have celebrated five times harder than if we had won and Villa won 2-0 and made it comfortable. I was delighted, first time footballs made me feel that happy for a long time.

Fuck sake People don't half told back on insulting people and launching attacks on people online. Having said that, he looks like a mutated and even fatter version than lee Charnley. And his idea is fucking stupid.
-
Get in! He's staying and the mackems are fewmin . Excellent news, and superb decision not to sack him, I firmly, 100% believe from the bottom of my heart he is the right man to lead Sunderland right back to where they rightfully belong. He will lead them to their rightful place. The championship is not where they ought to be by any means. A club like Sunderland simply does not belong in the championship let's be real. It's not a championship club, simple. I fully believe that smeagol, will indeed, lead them to League one. And may they forever rot there.

Villa's squad is far, far supiorior to that. They will be champions next season.

This would be perfect justice for the assholes that support them.
