He's a good player, one of our better players for sure, but i don't see him ever reaching that elite level. I'm not too disappointed to sell him, particularly given we're going to get a good fee for him Can see him being an in/out player for both Barca or Bayern who does well in spurts but never reaches the top numbers. Good impact sub for either with his pressing and pace on the counter but his ego would despise that tag.

The main part of his game I love, he looks absolutely horrible to play against from a cb's point of view. Getting stronger physically and puts himself about but he's electric running in behind which obviously defenders hate. Could really help SJP become a bear pit again if he leads from the front with that hunger + work rate the rest of the team will follow

I'm not in any way defending Bruce. Those were the some of the worst years in the clubs history. Just comparing the league form this season with a much stronger squad under Howe. To be in that ballpark is a huge underperformance this season and it is right to have serious question marks around our current manager.
