We can't be daft enough to buy a homegrown from Liverpool to significantly strengthen their PSR position (Isak).
-
All well and good to keep saying he needs his own window/pre season to implement his system but the pressure is going to be 10fold on him now. He simply HAS TO produce from the get-go next season as this season has become a write off in results alone, even if he hasn't verbalised it.
-
Arsenal be a sideways move in the fact while they're slightly closer in terms of title challenges, our fanbase/manager/teammates is a much more together feeling he won't get at any other club, least of all Arsenal. He could be worshipped up here with Bruno for years to come
-
Absolutely do not want to sell him, mind. Keep him for his career please
-
Get the contract extended and make him highest paid player, protect the asset. Only sell for £150m+ Genuinely worth that to us
-
What a player we've got man. Hindsight now showing we got a bargain at €70m. Let the outside noise happen, its a compliment to the caliber of player we have on our hands. Also, keep the £ strings tight in Jan and we could be looking good for adding 2-3 more first team quality signings come July. Why would he want to leave?
-
Likeable and plenty of ability but no place for him in the squad any more i'm afraid. He needs regular games to build up that robust match fitness and he's not going to get it here as a) he doesn't get in our best 11 and b) unfortunately he picks up way too many niggles/muscle injuries. Could easily see him sold in summer. Being available regularly is a huge attribute in footballers.

Does the resale open at a specific time or is just something to keep checking every now and then?

Club have resumed my mates membership for the season. No sign of refund on the lost tickets but we've had some form of backtrack and recognition the punishment was top heavy. So, West Ham, Brentford and Liverpool tickets cancelled no refund. But membership still valid now for the rest of the season. Not sure where he would stand on Carabao cup history should we make the final, dare say he wouldn't fall under the 100% purchase criteria.
-
My mates ticket got resold as expected (more touting than we're guilty of imo ) Also lovely to see several Liverpool fans in Gallowgate block V - I'm sure they all attended using the correctly named ticket
-
Since had a response from NUFC Trust who are in firm agreement with the stance taken by the club being too firm. Formal complaint lodged via email and stage 2 of their complaints procedure, with board members at the trust cc'd in and giving their backing to us. Let's hope it gets a resolution.

Yes, but wasn't sure who to @ to get the wheels going?
-
Supporter services and Matt Willis cc'd into the email. With a supporter services admin only replying to us and speaking to the member of staff on the day about it (yes, her.) Going to ask to speak to someone with further authority. Shocked by the treatment to be honest
-
Flat out refusal to change stance now. Membership banned until next season. £117 lost including the West Ham game.
-
Update, Couple of back and forth emails with supporter services to which no movement on their stance and they've asked the member of staff what happened on the day - of course this didn't help at all. They are however saying they'll look into it further so it's not fully dismissed as of yet. My mate will miss out on Liverpool and possibly Brentford as a result of this - with no refund on tickets (£70) and no notification this was going to be the punishment for the scenario it still feels very heavy.
-
Thanks, appreciate that.
-
Cheers, sent an email off to Matt Willis and the supporters services so will see what we get back.
-
Cheers appreciate this. Hindsight wonderful thing and would've been the easy thing to do then but it was a bit rushed as we wanted to get in early to watch the easy win against the hammers

Was 4 together but the lad who couldn't make it had already downloaded to apple wallet. So forwarding email wouldn't have let the other fan download the ticket again. Was a bit of a scramble at 7pm at the ground too so we had no signal to arrange it all in that way. Genuine mistake and by technicality they could refuse doing anything but it would be fairly upsetting as life time match-going fans to be treated this way.
-
Wormy, Stev, Agree with you both, i've read their terms and conditions and strictly speaking the ticket cannot be transferred at all. Given the circumstances and loyalty involved i'd expect a ticking off and 'reminded' of the terms and conditions. We also weren't made aware of the actions which have followed. We have only found out due to my mate laid up at home checking his tickets for Liverpool and Brentford to find they've disappeared. Hindsight a wonderful thing but yes, we weren't aware it could be removed from apple wallet and re-downloaded. Also had no/limited signal around the ground at 7.10pm on Monday to arrange this.
-
That's the one - outright refused to speak to me. Asked for a chance to explain the full situation she said no leave before I ban all 4 linked memberships.
-
Written a formal complaint to send through to Matt Willis (support liaison officer) and Stephen Tickle (box office manager). Worst case a warning and slap on the wrist not to do again. We've been going to games at SJP for 20 years - feels way over the top to cancel the above mentioned games and membership all season. Genuine touts out there wouldn't exactly try print a ticket in the box office!
-
Anyone had an experience of the following; Mate couldn't make the game (West Ham in this instance) - ear infection has doctors note etc Sold ticket to another fan at face value Had to go box office to print the ticket off as the ill mate had already downloaded it to Apple wallet 'Done' for touting and the ill mate in question has since had Liverpool and Brentford tickets cancelled with no refund, membership cancelled for rest of the season and subsequently carabao cup history of tickets if we make final. The woman at the box office was incredibly rude despite it being obvious we're not touts (tout by definition is sale at a profit). 14 year history of buying tickets at the club. Disgusted by the treatment to be honest. Weren't told at the time any of this would happen, only told the fan we sold the ticket to at face value couldn't go in to which we said fair enough.
