  1. Don’t believe there was any ticket ID checks last night. Which was probably just as well given the chaos/congestion on the roads into Ewood Park.

  3. That’s probably a valid point. Only two and a half weeks until the QF, so probably unrealistic to expect we’d have improved enough to beat Man City, even at home.
  4. If we’re doing ideal scenarios, then yeah, I think we’d all take that. Outside of that though, I genuinely don’t think getting one of them at home is the worst thing. Getting one of them away is an absolute disaster.
  5. Unpopular theory, but to win it you likely have to beat one, if not both, of Man City or Liverpool, and our best chance of doing so is at SJP rather than Wembley, so a HOME draw to either might not be the worst thing. Still take Coventry with them playing each other like.
  6. Yep, I feel like that’s the fairly clear 1,2,3.
  7. It’s been 34k per side the last couple of seasons. Think we got 33k v Man United. Obviously how each club choose to dish out that 34k is another matter entirely. But that discussion can wait for another day…
  8. Allocations have been roughly the same as the what we got against Man Utd last season. Whether they go by the same rules as then, who knows? Although if we get drawn away in the QF and get through, they’ll have to come up with something different.
  9. Our Player of the Season by miles IMO.
  10. Agreed. Hopefully he comes off after an hour again, but this time because we’re the the ones dishing out the battering.
  11. That is an interesting point actually. Most of us on here, and I’d say the majority of people on NUFC SM, all seem to think the bloke is cringey as owt, but if you look around the ground when he’s giving it Bruuuuno or whatever, and there’s plenty joining in, not just kids either. Still, no issues from me if he got Ryan Fraser’d….
  12. Seems to be quite a bit of debate on their board about whether they should go full strength or not.
  13. Can see Anderson and/or Targett on the bench here given Howe’s comments in the presser. If not tomorrow, then certainly for Saturday.
  14. Can’t see Willock starting just yet. Imagine he’ll have another couple of sub appearances first given how long he’s been out.
  15. If it ever happens again, I would fire a quick email to supporter services. Highly likely you’re tickets won’t have been flagged so it’ll not make any difference, but just in case, you can imagine what a ball ache it might be if they were.
  16. Did you tell the club you wouldn’t be going? Shouldn’t have to, but given how things have gone, probably best to try and cover yourself if you can.
  17. You’re right in that they’ll never win (as with virtually all ticketing issues when demand is outstripping supply). But they don’t have to ‘lose’ as badly as they are with this one.
  18. Change the way they do these ID checks.
  19. Confident, no, certainly not, but if Liverpool put half a team of kids out, and Southampton went full strength, it would definitely even things up a bit.
  20. The phone dying bit is kind of irrelevant. It’s more the fact that the ticket check has caused the kid to be split from her dad.
  21. They’ve got to stop stuff like this happening
  22. Aye, mind if Southampton or Leeds rocked up with a full strength team (unlikely) I wouldn’t completely rule them out after today, especially Southampton.
