  2. Well in favour of the principle of it, would be people on low points, as it’s drastically reduced the amount of points required to get to an away game, thus allowing them to go. Not sure many would be in favour of the way it’s actually being implemented though.
  3. If it continues into next season unabated/unchanged, everyone will have come to that conclusion.
  4. Tbf, it’s only a very small minority that flagged up, so you’re pretty unlucky if it happens to you. Nevertheless, it really doesn’t need to be like this for anyone. As I’ve said before, I don’t necessarily disagree with the principle behind what they’re trying to do, but the implementation is all wrong. There has to be a better way of doing things (well, there IS better ways, as demonstrated by most other PL teams).
  5. Well this is worrying…. As a completely irrelevant aside - this is the first time I’ve ever been able to embed a tweet from my phone. Only ever appeared as the link before.

Not sure I would interpret it like that mind.

There is, but where that line is….

If we genuinely didn’t want him based on what’s been seen in training (or whatever) then I think Howe would have sent him back or not given him any minutes at all.

I think the whole point was just to to shift the payment to next year for FFP. There was never really any consideration on our part that we wanted a ‘safety net’ or ‘get out’ from the deal being made permanent IMO
  10. Expect to see Bruno and Miggy giving it “oi, oi, oi” at the next one, before necking a two-pinter.
  11. Does make quite a lot more sense him being a fan of the darts rather than Schar ?
  12. That’s Dummett ? https://x.com/skysportsdarts/status/1760790425936261513?s=46&t=OQLMckSuatbpqWF13Al4mQ

Yeah, there was some ITK Chelsea Twitter account claiming we just had to stay up to make it permanent.
  14. We absolutely battered Palace away, bar one excellent save from Pope, which was about the only time they were in our box all game.
  15. Yes, I think most people realise the current discussion is about choosing the least worst option, rather than the best.
  16. Of course, but whichever one of those two options gets chosen, that’s well down the line. They can’t just ignore the situation in the meantime.
  17. Tell them to wait for the moment. TV schedule for April hasn’t been announced yet, and with Liverpool in with a shout of the title, I’d be almost certain that game gets moved in some description. On top of that it’s also FA Cup semi-final weekend, so there’s probably a fair chance Liverpool are in that, so the Fulham game would be rescheduled completely.
  18. They need to get some kind of tier structure in place. Don’t know how that works mind, as every option seems to be fraught with problems. But eventually they’ll have to come with something to more or less eradicate away fans and ‘Jonny one-game’ getting preference over more committed members.
  19. Some very valid points worthy of consideration there ? Really can’t understand why total transparency on numbers is so hard ??‍♂️ Do think we’re pissing in the wind talking about going back to limited membership though. Horse has bolted now.
  20. Would be interesting to know how many tickets do go on resale for each game. Alas, all ticket data appears to be a national secret.
  21. Yes, the not knowing aspect from a planning point of view is probably the worst thing about it. I feel like there’s some merit to it though. Although at the minute can’t really think of enough tweaks to make it properly viable.
  22. How do people feel about that idea of collating all of the resale seats and releasing them on the morning of the game? Clearly it wouldn’t be ideal for all, especially those that have to travel significantly, but it would probably make touting a bit more difficult and I guess it would get rid of the endless hours of F5ing.

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

For Willock maybe, but not for Isak. He’s only been out three weeks, so he should be good to go. From what Eddie said at last week’s presser you felt that if Bournemouth had been a huge game for whatever reason, Isak probably could have been risked. Think they took the safe option last week, so now’s the right time. Reckon Isak starts* and Willock is on the bench. *although that doesn’t mean he has to run himself into the ground for 98 mins.
