  1. They’re going to have to considering they’ve lost their two best (by some distance) players.
  2. And actually the consequences of a member doing that as opposed to a ST holder, are less, as they risk losing a £40 membership as opposed to a £600+ ST.
  3. Him having scored 11 goals for us feels like a surprisingly high number
  4. Then you’re living out the narrative about our fans having ‘unrealistic expectations’
  5. No, it’s not on about a swap deal - tweet should say *interest not *interested
  6. Looking at what’s been made available today, I’d guess the general sale numbers are far less. However, agree they could have done a far better job of communicating how this was all going to work.
  7. Nah, members sale covers that rule. Hence we had the odd game that didn’t go to general sale last year.
  8. Totally understand his point. However, they’ve probably decided to hold a small number back for general sale to try be more inclusive and give people that are maybe only back in the region for a short period or something, the chance to buy. As with everything when it comes to ticketing though, there never seems to be a ‘right’ way to do anything.
  9. The queue numbers are making people panic. Still confident if you’re online now you’ll get one.

    St James' Park

Pretty sure the ones at Spurs weren’t locked? Or at least if they were you could unlock them yourself as a few people were sitting down at half time

    St James' Park

In terms of away ends it would seem to make very little difference to me as everybody’s standing anyway. Maybe stops people ending up three rows in front celebrating a goal.

    St James' Park

It’s effectively exactly the same as normal seating except there’s a rail in front of you that you can lean on when standing up
  13. Either that or she alleviated the disappointment….

    Nick Pope

I don’t think anyone should really be surprised at his first touch…. I think where I’ve maybe did him a disservice with his distribution is his long kicking. I’ve always thought he just punted it long to let Wood, Barnes or whoever fight for it. But having watched a few Burnley highlights (not recommended), they probably were more in the ‘targeted long pass’ category than the ‘hoof’ category. Seemed pretty accurate.
  15. Gonna be responsible for at least three heart attacks in the East Stand this season.
  16. If you can get on tomorrow morning you will have nothing to worry about, other than maybe if you’re trying to get a significant number of seats together.
  17. DCL has had ONE season with injury issues. If that makes him ‘injury prone’, you’re looking at about 80% of players being in that bracket.
  18. Short answer seems to be yes, but exactly how that plays out in the process of buying the tickets, I’m not sure?
  19. Partey’s got that position all locked up….
  20. So that’s a reason to join them? *Unless you’re meaning THE Jesus, and Arsenal being a massively religiously intolerant club has passed me by?
  21. There is a PL rule about a certain % of ground capacity (can’t remember the number, but let’s go with 5, although could be 10) having to be available on a match-by-match basis. I think the confusion comes because that isn’t really general sale (as we would take ‘general sale’ to mean in terms of NUFC). It’s covered by Members sale. It’s basically a rule to stop any club selling their entire ground out to ST holders. *and Alex Hurst is either terrible at maths or just talking total shite.
  22. Why would he not go to Arsenal?
