When a make shift 19yr old RB is currently one of our best players it tells it's own story. He's been class to be fair. Starting to show strength and a few times held their players off well.

The whole mood around the squad seems lifting at the minute. I think Eddie's body language has been different and some of his interviews have been uncharacteristic. I think he's feeling the pressure and it's showing.

We've regressed. I'm not really bothered who's to blame for that but Eddie's the man paid to sort it out. He hasn't done that this season.

It's like we been told to play stoically like all the best teams in the world do. You know, play the game, not the occasion and rely on pure footballing ability. Problem with that is we don't have the players good enough to do that. The wingers in particular have been atrocious this season. We were at our best under Howe when we putting massive shifts in. Longstaff was running 12km a match or something a few seasons ago and even he looked decent. That's not sustainable with Europe and the extra games but that's where we could have really done with nailing the recruitment in the summer so we could rotate with better players. The thing that concerned me back in the summer was we wanted Delap, Ekitike, Pedro, Sesko and we've ended up with Woltemade. All different types of strikers so it's just like we're making do and I'm not sure Howe knows how to get these players to gel. It's all a rudderless mess.

Not sure I agree but Le Bris seemed to motivate his players more that's for sure. The second we had the ball, they were on us. I genuinely believe the difference was effort. I can't believe how little we pressed or tried. Lacklustre from the first minute.

Just cut our losses. Take £15m for him

Too many times we look fucking clueless. They beat us with a much worse team because they want it more. I've never seen such a passive toon team for a derby than this. Look like they couldn't give a fuck.

I remember the last time we played Burn at LB for a prolonged period we looked absolutely horrific and the same thing is coming to pass now. He's been unlucky that both our Full backs have been crocked, but this lifting form has been going on for a while. I'll reserve judgement on him until we have a full strength squad. He always seems to be fighting with one arm tied behind his back, whether that be losing out players to injury or the players we identified as transfer targets not wanting to join. I like all our signings with maybe the exception of Elanga but he might come good. The balance just seems off at the minute and I'm hoping getting players back will see some improvement. Also think individuals are letting him down but we're simply not producing enough quality consistently for what we want to achieve. Now is definitely not the time to turn on Eddie. I've got no doubt he'll be so pissed off and gutted about it as much as anyone.
