The transfer window frenzy always yields very unwarranted and inaccurate statements. If football was as simple as team A spent X therefore are better than team B who spent Y, it would be a pointless game. We'll be absolutely fine, I'd take our team over a good 5/6 sides in the league, perhaps more.

Ritchie, Dubravka, Shelvey, Kenedy, Rondon & Muto all had very good games. Would like to see them all starting against Cardiff. I know Rafa will prefer to take a slower, more gradual approach though which is fair enough. I'm really optimistic after seeing that, keep up that kind of commitment and determination to stay in the game up, and we will (as predicted) make those saying we are one of the favourites for the drop look very, very silly.

Rafa wouldn't be so petulant as to jeopardise the team to stick one to the board. He absolutely will believe this is the side who can best carry out his specific instructions for this certain opponent. More like he is a big believer in preparation, and he will want to work with the new signings before putting them in the team so they understand exactly what he expects. Joselu scored a great goal in pre-season, latching onto a Shelvey pass and finishing in a very assured manner. This is his year, Muto & Rondon have no chance of making it into this side #trustinthehoss

Can't help but appreciate the symbolism of some of those images. Presumably that's one of the flag movements who brought the banner down? Good work as always from those guys.
