straight swap for hayden if he has to leave maybe, something like that...i've liked March since seeing him in the champo, be a massive upgrade on kennedy why the fuck hughton isn't starting him i've no idea Exactly, the fact he doesn't start for Brighton surely means we would be an attractive option for him. Still only 24.
-
Solly March, whether they stay up or not, we should be able to tempt him to come play for a better team.
-
Only issue I can see for us in view of Brighton's heavy-eyed performance is that we become complacent with the time & space being afforded to us. I don't think Rafa will allow that, mind. Easiest half of the season, brilliant goal by Ayo. Nice to see Shelvey in the middle, and Schar doing Schar things.
-
Yeah, bad one that. Looked knocked out entirely on initial contact.
-
Schar - Fernandez - Dummett at the back then. Still looks very solid to me. Schar---Fernandez---Dummett Manquillo------------------------------Ritchie ------------------Ki---Hayden----------------- ----------Perez-----------------Atsu----------- ---------------------Rondon-------------------- Meaning the only position really up for contention is Ki. Rafa might go Diame, I'd like Shelvey.

Is he not a bit too good looking to be playing darts? I'd shag him like.

Missed this Rafael van der Vaart to make his darts debut next month. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/darts/47969274

Aye, was going to say £3m would be a steal £15m+ and we'd be better served using the funds elsewhere.

Kenedy is a good player who simply didn't manage to get going this season after his bad form early on. I certainly don't think he's as bad as had been made out at times; he was expectional for us last year however for £30m, £20m or even £15m - our money can be spent elsewhere on the squad where it's really needed.
-
He's a little genius isn't he. Wonderful player. Special player, so enjoyable to watch. The way he moves, positions he takes up, final delivery. Got the lot.
-
The team who have Bernardo Silva will win it as he’s the best player in the league this season.

I'd like Galtier from Lille but given that they will be playing CL football next season we probably couldn't lure him. Edit: Just realised you're probably asking who would imminently take over as caretaker manager? Fuck knas, Jamaal Lascelles.

So atmosphere IE. passion doesn't play a part in a game of football? I'll add a few more key elements of football which cannot be quantified... Leadership, determination, spirit, tenacity, drive... I've seen football matches won by those qualities many times.
-
Agreed. Too much emphasis on stats nowadays. Becoming far too Americanised in the sense that their popular sports rely heavily on stats for analysis. How do you quantify heart, passion, flair etc? You don’t.

I have to say, as much as I'm all for smaller clubs getting results against the bankrolled heavy hitters, and the necessity for the smaller clubs to close the gap somehow (by way of tactics etc.), the way in which Burnley went about it was ugly and unsporting. Not great to see and even had me hoping Chelsea would nick it late on and I certainly have no love for Chelsea FC.

Ayozé Pérez (now playing for Villarreal)

I disagree. He's a classic second striker, a role pretty popular in a lot fo Europe's top teams today, Spurs for instance play with one, sometimes Dele Alli. He would offer them more in that role than Alli does - not saying Spurs will come in for him like, but I think he could hold his place down in teams far bigger than us.
