Agree. Bruce has thrown him to the lions. He’s gone from showing a modicum of promise to a car crash of a player. Should have been benched weeks ago. Unfortunately for him (and us) he’s possibly going to be our only attacking option due to Bruce’s training causing injuries/morale issues.

What the Bruce supporters fail to see is that he’s just a conduit for Ashley’s advisors, allowing them to pick the players they want to sign, and the fact that every time we have a coach in this mould we end up relegated. That’s my frustration. What needs to be remembered is Bruce was 11th or 12th choice. The brand is so toxic and the terms of coaching this club meant no one wanted to come here, Shearer advised against managing here.
