It would make for a great t shirt along the lines of the Che Guevara one.

I think we need a thread called ‘close season nitpicking pedantry and squabbling because there’s nowt better to do’ and an actual transfer rumours thread that consists of actual transfer rumours.
-
Yeah. We do. It’s often unavailable because Brexit. I packed the tabs up a year and a half ago and I’ve piled some timber on since then so the dose is too low now. I paid for my assessment (not wealthy, I sold three fantastic four comics for a grand and I got mates rates) but I can’t afford the cost of a review with the psychiatrist who diagnosed me so I’m running on my own shonky frontal lobes for the foreseeable.

Having ADHD might well be helpful for a goal keeper. Quick thinking, being adaptable, responding quickly to changes, being very aware of your environment and noticing everything that goes on around are all handy. planning, long term thinking, high levels of executive functioning and being well organised are not essential for being a goal keeper. ‘Impulsivity’ otherwise known as acting without thinking is a useful trait in lots of circumstances. I say this as someone who’s had ADHD for 57 years and who’s worked in child mental health services for 24, so this is not ‘bloke down the pub’ wisdom. I think Pickford probably has it. He struggles mostly when he’s got a bit of time to think but he’s a brilliant shot stopper. On balance his strengths far outweigh is weaknesses.

Sorry man. It was a tap in. Couldn’t resist.

Based on nothing but my imagination, Eddie is a man who has an eye for detail and is meticulous in everything he does. I’ve arbitrarily decided that Eddie is talking the Ferguson approach of running the whole caboodle, which given what he’s achieved so far is just fine with me. -
That was a definitive statement that.

I think we’ll sell Gordon.

I remember us under Gordon Lee and Bill McGarry. And it reminds me of the importance of not turning into a bunch of entitled fuckers. That way leads to ending up like them fucking Arsenal bellends on YouTube. Not for me.

We need to be light hearted about the champion’s league next season as supporters and realise that every bit of it is a bonus rather than another thing to piss and moan about. This is fucking dreamland. obviously Eddie and the chaps are not allowed to be light hearted about it.

All the sweeter that it’s a villa’s expense. Horrible cunts.

Trophy and champion‘s league. Best season of my life. I’m 56. Get the fuck in

8 minutes.

This must be fake news. All the geniuses on here were clear he was shit, like that impostor Murphy and the useless blart Elanga.
-
It’s a beautiful sight. I feel like a Visigoth walking through the smouldering ruins of Rome, bewildered as to how these useless cunts ever ruled the world. Radcliffe fiddles while Rome burns. the barbarians kicked the gates down and pissed on the pantheon years ago. They just didn’t realise they were already dead.

Stand in the corner with your nose to the wall until you remember how to behave like a good boy.

No. Phillip spunked it all on cakes, meringues, pointy shoes, hunting and hookers

Wasn’t pope boniface the fella who got into cahoots with Philip the first of France to kill the templars and loot their cash? Avoid.

Nobody is untouchable and being savvy with sales is just as important as buying. Like selling players when they are still going to fetch a good price rather than wait until it drops (Wilson as an example) as long as there is a coherent plan about replacing them. I hate to say it, but Botman is giving me Woodgate vibes. It might be wise to recoup the outlay now rather than end up with a player who can’t perform and can’t command a good fee after two more seasons of being injured. however, as I’ve said before, this is genuinely the first time in 50 + years that I have absolute faith in the transfer strategy.

For the sake of balanced reportage, Tony Adams managed it pretty well. edit: failed to notice the reference to McGrath etc above I was in a boozer in a posh suburb of Sheffield while Bruce, Robson and monkey’s heed were having a quiet evening out and they were consuming at an industrial rate. Quite astonishing.
