Gordon in CM is terrifying. Hope this post can be laughed at after the game. -
This is just a really wise call up cos he's class. Will offer loads in international football.

Did Longstaff play on an injured foot then to see us over the line? -
Always had O'Shea as an okay player who looked better for playing alongside elite players. Utterly bombed once out of that environment and into his 30s. Burn is an okay player too. But feels like his ability curve has been an upwards trend to this point. Also both perfect for their relative squad roles. You wouldn't swap them, hypothetically.

IIRC Fulham have done very well against bottom half teams and quite poorly against the top 7/8. I'm not expecting much from them today. I'm also massively overrating Chelsea in my mind

Great to wake up today without having to worry about the result. -
Nah, no problem with a sponsor as it will always be SJP even if the signs have a company name on it. This is a money game and we should exploit every avenue.

Oh I'm with you on that. McTominay would be fantastic in our system. And yet, he'd still piss us all off with his limitations.
-
Burn is underrated. Annoying in some ways, but he's just been a lock in, slightly out of position, in the joint best defensive in the EPL. He fucks me right off, but you can't deny what he brings. I think my overall position on all these points is that the extreme opinions are way off.

I just think that Longstaff has gradually developed into a top CM this season. He has limitations, but he is becoming dominant in some aspects. He'd do a job for Man Utd. And yeah, he'd get similar criticism from their fans, but they'd be as harsh as us.

Dan Burn = John O'Shea Longstaff is just a really good footballer that Man Utd would be lucky to have.

oh dear

Howe said he's out.
