Holy shit, this an implosion

This section from that piece is incredible: "Perhaps most bizarrely, it is claimed there was a moment where Mauriss floated the idea with advisors as to whether Newcastle owner Ashley would consider payments via “gold or diamonds”, which he had in Asia, before being reminded Ashley runs publicly limited companies and this may not be appropriate."

Just read that Chris Armas, the new assistant manager Leeds signed for Marsch two weeks ago, was also an assistant for Ragnick at Man Utd. The man must hate himself to keep coming back.

Judging by the ticket price, I’ll be safely ensconced at home watching the game with my dad. Tempted to watch it alone in case it all goes to hell.

I love how sadly happy Bruno looks in the team photo. Basically a "I did good, then I goofed and I'm sorry" look.

Just got laid off so now I have my entire afternoon free to watch this. Swings and roundabouts

At no point this season have I ever thought 'Leeds are going down'. Granted that's not to say they should be higher but it's not bad enough to justify sacking him imo. Obviously Leeds fans know and watch their team a lot more than I do and if they're united in wanting him out then it'll probably happen, I just see the point in getting a new guy in, backing him financially, letting him start to build a squad then binning him before it's had a genuine chance to take hold and grow. It just seems a very skittish and panicky move from a petrified boardroom.
I think it might also be due to their boardroom composition. Was reading that the San Francisco 49ers investment group have an option to buy and have dithered on it while Leeds are bleeding cash and fear going down.

Lose this and it's potentially Howe's first mini crisis. Starting to feel we've been found out or experiencing a prolonged period of very bad luck

Stuck listening to the radio feed as I'm at the office but Burn sounds like he's getting skinned every attack.

that was my thought too. Your fucking dad being a snitch. I wonder if it happened before or after Gio was a shithead in training?I played at a community level and if my folks pulled something like that with a coach I'd probably just commit seppuku there and then

What an incredible twist. Can you imagine being Gio and showing up to another training camp? -

He was a crock before, during and after us. Probably because of his lifestyle and he was regularly in trouble after nights out iirc.
But when he was fit, he was unreal and had it all.
I’ve never seen someone make a challenge look as comfortable as Woodgate did. The fact he made Bramble look good (ish) is a testament to his skill

Yes.Slightly perplexed to be honest. Part of me is wondering whether they are looking to invite tentative interest to be able to evidence demand if it needs to go in front of the Premier League for associated party transactions.
